Out of town the last 2 days for a Good Friend's Funeral.....didn't even look at the numbers for the XFINITY so not sure how I would have fared.

I have played Chase again 1 to win 1500 early.....should have waited, its 1 to win 2000 now. Hoping he gets a Win somewhere this year....haven't played him every race but most of them where he could be statistically dangerous. I'm up 8 units since the last cash so I said what the hell...1 unit on Chase.

I personally don't have match-ups yet so I'm studying the numbers.

Cut his Arm, got infected, turned into MRSA, dead within 30 days......you just never know. He was my mentor in Sales, worked hard, played hard, and had a brilliant networking mind and a huge heart. Never was married, never had kids, and treated women with the utmost respect. Would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. Still had the '69 Camaro Convertible his Dad bought him as a High School Graduation gift.....held onto everything that meant something to him in his life. He spoiled 5 nieces and nephews, of which will all be taken care of well I'm sure. I'm hearing that none of them want the car so I already know I'm going to be disappointed with the results. He was always the 1st one to work and the last one to leave, and when he left it was time to celebrate the day deep into the night. He definitely taught me for about 5 years that if you Go Out with the Boys, you still have to Wake Up with the Men. I loved that Man.....

I had to look up MRSA, that revelation will change my thought on cuts going forward.

He sounds like a really good guy in all respects. He lived his life to the fullest and then something as random as a cut ends it all. Things like this makes one take a pause and re-think whats important. Sorry for the loss

It very strange....sitting there yesterday.....for all of these years I thought Charlie had mentored me and taught me how to network with people. I wasn't until yesterday looking at all of the people around me that I met through him.....he wasn't teaching me how to network, he was trying to teach me how to love others, and the rest falls into place.

Is buying the car an option for you? I'd like to have it...I asked my Dad for the same car in HS because he always wanted one as well(ask for the 68, and it was almost 30 years old already when I was in HS). Stepmom stopped that...

I'm not sure. I've been asking a few questions about it indirectly. It's very strange, my buddy spoiled his friends just like he did his family, but other than an annual golf tournament that his nephews usually played in locally, that was the only time family and friends mixed, and I am not a golfer, so I don't know them that well. They all lived out of town, and it was usually him going to them on visits and get togethers other than the golf tournament once they got old enough to play. Everything is original on it other than the Color. Of course he had to paint it Crimson.

Sounds like one classy Gentleman. I feel for your loss of him as a friend, and apparently much more. It is tough, but obviously he has taught you many important lessons. Cherish the memories and honor his spirit.

My condolences; be well RE.
