Is THE BAY AREA now the best Area in sports?

You got the Warriors winning and breaking records, the Giants are a dynasty, the 49ers have been to the Super bowl not too long ago even though they suck now, and now the Sharks are getting ready to play in the Stanley Cup finals tonight. Is there any city with better all around teams?

GSW Oracle arena is in Oakland I thought.
Sharks play in San Jose last time I checked.
Niners had one great run in nfl
And then you have the giants which has been a good recent franchise.

In the past 10 years, the Steelers have been to 3 Super Bowls, the Penguins to 3 Stanley Cup finals, and the Pirates to 3 MLB Post Seasons.

I'm not clear how San Jose counts as a SF sports team...

Once the Cubs rattle off 3 WS in the next 5 years, you will have the Cubs dynasty, the Hawks dynasty, and the Bulls dynasty in the 90s.

The Bay Area is a pretty good spot for sports!
We just need the Raiders and A's to step it up

I lived in the Bay Area......I will say this......Warriors play in Oakland not San Francisco.

And you probably know then that if you are an A's and Raider fan you are not a fan of the Niners and Giants. It still is pretty epic for sports and the Sacramento Kings are close too

I lived in Walnut Creek for 7 years in the 90`s........I preferred the A`s and Raiders over the Giants and 49ers.

I am in marin and always been Raiders, A's and it was tough as a kid cuz most over here are giants, niners

Not SF, but the bay area has been pretty good in the last 5 years or so. The Sharks who are now in San Jose have their origins at the Cow Palace closer to SF. The Warriors who were in SF and will return shortly are currently in Oakland.

Only the Tampa Bay Lightning are winning these days, but the Bucs & Rays have had their runs...

7 MLB titles between 2 teams
2 NBA titles.

Shark in the Stanley Cup. - Raiders even making noise again as they're considered AFC West contenders for the 1st time in 12 years!
Boston is still Titletown,USA. But the Bay Area can join the discussion now.
