as a pens fan, this series scares me. west coast teams tend to play fast paced, may negate our speed. power play is a major issue for the pens. tampa had a worse PP than pens (which was atrocious) and we just made it by. sharks PP is dangerous.

great stories on both sides. So much parity in the game. Managerial decisions are so critical, magnified in todays' game. Kudos to both!!!! Sharks adding pieces to the puzzle in Jones (he's BEEN huge!!), Martin, Ward, Donskoi. Penguins with Kessel, Rust, Murray (how has he been?)

Patrick Marleau has been a Shark for EIGHTEEN YEARS. Joe Thornton, clearly in the twilight of his career finally makes it to the final. He's also an 18 yr veteran. He has had to deal with naysayers his entire career.

With the Pens, of course, Sid raising his game midway thru the year. Letang their leader at the back.

The Sharks are deeper. But the Pens have a few born winners, The Intangibles...

Should be a great series. I'll be rooting for the Sharks. If the Pens take a lot of penalties, they are doomed. Pens also better hope the Murray holds it together.
