What % of this industry fell off since back in the day? I was into them in the 80's and early 90's but I grew older and they got silly and I stopped being interested. I know they are still around but how much do you think their business fell off?

Lately? None, its better than the past with serial numbered cards, patches and autos, there are some hidden gems from back in the 80's and 90s but very rare you'd have any of them

BTW, Topps is out of business for the next 10 yrs, Panini bought the rights for the whole NFL market, including the players in their college uni's which those boxes I really like, Contenders came out about a month ago, 5 or 6 autographs per box, I got:

Laquan Treadwell $60
Devin Johnson $12
Jarran Reed $30
Aaron Burbridge $6
Vernon Adams Jr $30

Got a few top rookies too but not auto (Cook, Elliot, Goff, Henry, Wentz)

Those run anywhere from $5 to $15

Hot Rocks, you list card values, but why? Are you able to sell them for that much?

I've got the 76 reds each individual player and team picture. A couple yrs ago I called a few memorabilia collectors just out of curiosity and they wouldn't even give me a price.

What do you think about PSA Grading? I have some cards that I want to get graded but I am getting mixed opinions about their service. It seems like they control the market in grading but Becket has a service as well. I have some 50's and 60's Topps baseball cards passed on to me from my dad that I want to get graded. Any opinions appreciated

Freakn had a Reberto Clemente and used it in bike spokes for flaps. Had many #1 comic book issues X men for one. In 81 sold a few for $20 bucks. Thought I was rich. Bought beer , smokes and a braclet for a girl. Lol

I had a few old comics that I bought just to sell later on and the prices just went down. Same with any baseball cards or comic cards that I had.

Beckett has 2 services , one of them is great called BGS and the other sucks called Beckett.

BGS is just as highly regard as PSA. A 10 BGS will be worth more then a 10 PSA but it's almost impossible to get a card grades a 10 with BGS that's why they are more valuable
