Not with me they're not... I'm out ....They need it for expenses.... that's BS......if they really need the 8% , how about eliminating the 15K last 3 week contest , early bird signup party , the free entries they're giving out...

How does everyone else feel about this ?

read last season they were talking about this, thought it would be 5 or 6%
How do they come up with 8% ??

I'll still enter, but not too happy about it.

and 100% Agree with the Mini Contest... Ditch it

8% is going to be a lot more money than the mini contest

$ 120 per entry, that's a significant change

biting off way more than they should

its the principal of the issue that will have me sitting this thing out... A lot of us have to come in from out of town to enter..pay for a proxy on top of that ...and now you want 8%.... I could see another group of some kind putting together a " FAR BETTER " contest and running with it , and appreciate the notoriety of actually having a contest that they can build around..

There were 1,727 entries last season......8% of the total money is $207,240......are they nuts! That's a lot of money to take from the pot.

Bunch of bull if you ask me. I was sure they were going to go over $1 million for first this year, but not now!

What a joke. Makes it so-EV. Rather dump the 1500 + proxy fee in to big time survivor pools.....

8% is nuts.

I wonder what the rules are for online entry submittals? If they could automate picks to online or in-house then many can eliminate proxy fees. Maybe raise cost, maybe less manpower needed at westgate for data entry and sportsbook personnel.

For about the first ten years of the contest they took 10%, people complained a little but was mostly because they hated Art so much I think.

8% is a ton. Not a big edge in something like that to begin with.

Maybe someone else will step up and offer juice free.

The info is on there Twitter page.....https://twitter.com/LVSuperBook

Entry fee remains at $1,500. However, due to the rising costs, time, & resources we have to dedicate to event, there will be an 8% ad fee.
