Mark Hunt reacts to Brock Lesnar's 'bulls--t' USADA exemption: 'I think he's juiced to the gills'

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will make his mixed martial arts (MMA) return against Mark Hunt in the UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, which is scheduled for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., July 9, 2016.

Thanks to a special exemption from Untied States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which allowed the WWE superstar to bypass the four-month window for all mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters choosing to come out of retirement for one (or more) fights.

Hunt told FOX Sports Australia it's a big pile of BS:
"I think he's juiced to the gills, and I still think I'm going to knock him out. I don't think [USADA exemption is] fair. I think it's load of bulls--t, I think it's rubbish. I don't think anyone should be exempt from testing. If they're trying to clean the sport up, mixed martial arts, this is a bad way to do it. I don't care who you are. It's ridiculous. I've already voiced my opinion to Dana about it but apparently he (Lesnar) has been getting tested but he's probably been off a couple of cycles anyway. I don't think it's an even playing field. But it doesn't mean you're not going to get knocked out. Frank Mir was juicing and he got knocked out. The same thing's going to happen with Brock Lesnar."
Speaking of Frank Mir...

Lesnar (5-3) hasn't stepped foot inside the Octagon since suffering back-to-back technical knockout losses to Cain Velasquez (UFC 121) and Alistair Overeem (UFC 141), but never failed a blood or urine test during his time as a pro fighter.

The eye test?

That's another story, according to Hunt.

Is Hunt serious? You're complaining now? I realize it is just trash talk to sell the fight and all that but he sounds dumb.

Lesnar off 5 years in WWE coming back to UFC, what did you think was going to happen? He knew what he was getting into.

I don't think he's really complaining, he's just stating the obvious. The 4 month or whatever hiatus on testing out of retirement is BS IMO also. Steroids don't fight back anywho, and like Hunt said, no biggie, I'll just "KO him anyways".

Yeah, I guess.

Just seems tacky to me. Obviously Lesnar is likely not clean.

I couldn't careless if they all did roids. Like stated, roids don't fight back, and the majority of the ones out there, and most likely the ones Lesnar uses are highly detrimental to cardio anyways.

Really? People are getting struck in the head.

250 pound dudes doing roids makes the sport less safe. Especially if 1 guy is on them and 1 guy isn't.

Whats people getting struck in the head have to do with roids? They don't bother me in baseball either. All the roid heads here get their shit kicked in at every fight I've witnessed anyways.

Back to the OP, Lesnar was on roids in his last stint in the UFC, and he's on them now. Like Hunt stated, I see him
KO'ing the beast in the first round. Brock hates to be hit, and roids don't help with that...

The blows are harder and could cause brain damage?

The physical advantages that people get from HGH when already being 6'5 260 pounds in a combat sport is nothing to play with. Why combat sports needs to be vigilant in cleaning up PED use as best they can. Even if it is nearly impossible to stay ahead of the curve.

Did Vitor Belfort get his ass kicked in every fight he fought? Did Manny Pacquiao? Did Holyfield?

Majority of roids are harsh on the joints too, and that's where the hitting power is translated, along with technique. Sure, muscle helps some, but bones, joints, and technique trumps muscle.

Hunt hits it's harder than Lesnar dreams about. It must be nice to have cantaloupes for fiat like Lesnar, though. :)

Joint pain from PED's aren't instant, that is more of a long-term deteriorating effect.

If you've got all the components you just listed and then you supplement, it's gotta make you tougher to beat and more dangerous to boot.

I said "here". And Hunt hits harder than Lesnar does, roids or not. I'd fight Lesnar before I fought Hunt anyday.

Just because Lesnar doesn't strike means you should allow athletes to use PED's in the cage or ring?

This isn't baseball trying to create a home run chase, people are getting F'd up in the cage. You know this.

Joint pain can be instant from PED's. Even on a common test cycle.

Didn't seem to bother Manny or Belfort much. Guessing they liked fighting with supplementation more than without...

Since when does Lesnar not strike? Its not his biggest weapon, but when you have fist like his, you can do a lot of damage regardless. I'm glad to be a part of the Bare Knuckles boxing that's making a comeback...

Of course they do. They're at the age where their bodies are producing less. Not to mention, they can train and recover like they're young again. The quick recovery is the biggest factor.
