I was at the eye doctor about 9 months ago. He said I had cataracts on both eyes. Never had any vision problems at that time. Now I have noticed a blurry/cloudy problem in one eye that seems to slowly get worse. I am wondering if the cataracts are causing this or if it something unrelated. Anyone have a cataract problem here who could shed some light on it for me? What is the treatment for it? My other eye is currently unaffected.
My bill just came in the mail. My situation was exactly as yours and cost $2160.... Insurance covered, my cost $400 deductible. I had it done in about a month after 1st visit. Laser surgery isn't covered by any insurance and cost is about double. Few eye drops night b4 and 3-4 weeks after surgery which is about a 10 minute procedure.

Associate just had laser eye surgery last week, very good words about it, not much involved at all compared to other medical procedures. Appears that really good stuff is being done in that area. Apparently though, customer service/doctor-patient relations can vary broadly from one clinic to another so I'd say if you need it to research options, read reviews and such.
