A lucky punter was on cloud nine and planning a trip to France for the Euros when he thought he'd won almost £14,000 (€17,800) on some of the games, only for the bookmaker to say there had been an error and offer him £70 (€89) instead.

Your software accepted the wager so it counts.

Not the customers problem or job to babysit your system.

When that software accepted the wager & CONFIRMED it, its exactly the same as a verbal wager between 2 people that ended in a handshake...

Thats what i was just thinking.

What good is legalization if books can still get away with this

I hope when & if sports betting legalization comes to the U.S. that all loopholes for books to get out of paying are covered...
