Of course Spousal Immunity applies within Legal Proceedings, inside the court
so how could it not apply also to protecting a spouse from getting ratted out?

Obviously....there would be "the commission of a crime" factor and I'd imagine that would be what kills Spousal Immunity.
Knowing what little I know of this now, and that only what I heard 2 days ago within a 2 minute CNN segment on this....
...my feeling right now is I hope they make an example of this woman via harsh punishment so that other family/friends of deranged people will get encouraged to come forward.

If that is accurate then what we have here is the very first prosecute-able committor of Domestic Terror in the name of Islam and The Muslim Faith.
Some will say: "His Reason for attack had nothing to do with Muslim anything" and I feel them on that.
