WOW!
This is a great, great article, everyone should read it!

For me personally is nothing I'm surprised about after I have read it, but of course I didn't knew such details about this specific service.

I know well "Pregame", though I guess I haven't checked their site in about 4 years now.
Through 2005-2009 I was regularly checking their content, among others thinking about how to forge a betting system using their free picks, etc...
I never bought picks from them. Luckily I discovered the site when the period in which I was a pick buyer myself (from about 5-7 services) has already ended.

.....................99.9% lose long term.

Very much not true.
It's very hard to give it like a %, but IMO maybe just 75% of all services in North America are long time losers.

The thing is that only these longtime losers are well known to the betting public, because the big advertising budget tout companies are in this category. All these are snake oil sales men... they are good in sales (advertising), have big bucks in sales - this is essential for their existence, but they are shit in handicapping.
In fact they don't even have interest to be winning touts in the long run. Reading the article you will understand why... if you don't know yet.

Why so few people know about the long time winning services?
One of the reasons is that you don't need to advertise day in and day out if you are a winning service. Your clients will stick forever with you, they only leave if they totally stop betting on sports. But why would if they are winning in the long run?

If you are an individual, and have 30-50 customers sticking with you, you can make a great living, and not just from the sales (though that would be more than enough). Do not forget that you're also making money with betting your own picks... not like the big name, famous snake-oil sales men. :)

Never used a service and never will. We got guys on the the three main forum sites that are running white hot and are giving the plays away for free. I do wonder though.........are these tout service guys forced to give out plays just for the sake of giving out a play that day? I think we would all agree as punters the best weapon we have in our arsenal is the option to simply put our money back in our pocket and wait for another day. I would use Steve Fezzik as exhibit A. Like him or hate him, no one wins the supercontest two years in a row throwing darts.

Makes no sense to me. If you're that good of a capper just bet the games and win. You think these guys are altruists?

Nice article.

Total winnings before fees seem to be dead on. 11 out of 49 handicappers win money which seems about right.
