Surprised at the lack of NBA Draft threads on here. Are you happy w/ your team's draft last night? I am a Celtics fan, and I have not been able to digest it all to determine what I like and do not like yet. Always difficult to judge when your team takes guys from other parts of the world.

I love the C's draft, although the "experts" don't.

I love Brown, young, NBA body and a great kid

Yabusele can and will stretch the court

Bentil & Jackson both showed flashes of brilliance in college, somebody may emerge

and two foreign projects I know nothing about

plus they obtained another number one pick for 2019

Well The Nets were aggressive and got into the first round by shipping Thaddeus Young to the Pacers for the draft rights to LeVert.
But I hate that he came out with a Pacers cap, because Indy took the pick...

I'm not a NBA or NBA Draft fan... so i was looking for the Nets making the pick, etc... ( like the NFL does )

But like I said, I could live without the NBA ... at least until the Playoffs start

Oh, BTW ... I think they should learn how to speed this Draft up.

Took forever to get through 50 picks !

I guess, Simmons looks like a player but have no clue about the foreign guys.

The thing that caught my eye was the trade involving the Thunder-Magic.

The Magic got a horrible deal giving up Oladipo,Ilyasova and the 11th pick Sabonis for Serge Ibaka.

Serge Ibaka is nothing special to demand 3 players.

Yea, saw that and was like, WTF is Magic doing?? I thought they were rebuilding....guess not!

Ibaka has gotten soft down low over the years. Who the hell wants someone who hangs around the 3 point line with his size!

Great trade for Thunder!

I think Ainge did a bad job. First of all they have 13 players on the roster and they had 8 picks in what is considered to be an average draft. They needed to take the picks and some current players and package them for a star.....even if that means getting a bit of the short end of the stick. Ainge seems to think he has to have the best end of all of the trades. I told my son last night I was glad no one traded with Boston.

Perfect example is Philadelphia wanted Dunn. Move the number three pick and get one of their bigs. Maybe even take a pick a couple of years down the row too as part of the deal. They had way too many selections for this draft. Happy they didnt make a move because the Timberwolves got the guy they wanted in Dunn. Thanks Boston!!

All the talk was about Boston doing all of the dealing.....and nothing.

Some of the players will get cut and then another team can get them for free.

Talk about an inept franchise. Sacramento brought in just one player in the top 30 to try out. Then they make a trade to get more draft picks in this years draft.

Then they draft a center....which I am pretty sure is their lowest need.

Billion dollar owners hiring idiots to run their business. How do they become successful with decisions like this......it is a shame.

i was thinking c's drafted brown b/c they essentially were drafting for another team. i think trade talks may still be in the works.

that being said, jaylen brown seems like a super high character guy who acts like a true professional. very articulate and showed up to all meetings in suit and tie, is intelligent as he petitioned to take graduate level courses, etc. C's lucky to have him if they keep him.

Example Oklahoma state traded Ibaka. A proven player versus a rookie who may or not turn out to be better.

A perfect example of how they could have put a package together and get a deal done but they didn't.

I agree man. The International players are always a question mark. The good news is NBA's style of play is slowly becoming more of a Euro or International type. All positions are more versatile. Big men playing more outside the key. You don't need to be a big strong guy down low anymore. Its a finesse game. The power bruiser type players are not as effective or required now.
