Some players are beginning to leave school in search of greener pastures while
others are leaving for other reasons. Feel free to add as we go into the summer.
There certainly will be more...........

Transfers:

TENNESSEE - Offensive linemen Ray Raulerson and Dontavious Blair have decided
to play somewhere else. Neither were starters and no info given where they might
go.
VIRGINIA TECH - LB Carson Lydon is leaving after one season. Last year Lydon played
in 11 games as a true freshman. No possibles listed.
FLORIDA - DB J.C. Jackson, who had legal problems with the Gators looks to be headed
to Maryland.
FLORIDA - WR Alvin Baily decided to transfer. No info on where. Florida signed 5 wide
receivers in their 2016 recruiting class.
BAYLOR - QB Chris Johnson is headed to Houston. Johnson started 3 games for the Bears
last year and is a grad transfer who can play immediately. (Not likely)
AUBURN - DL Justin Thornton has decided to transfer. No possible schools were given.

Dismissed:

GEORGIA has released CB Chad Clay after he was arrested a second time in just
four months.

Suspended:

MIAMI has suspended LB Juwon Young for possible use of a free car. Young made 57
tackles and had one interception last year.

Academics:

TENNESSEE wide receiver was redshirted last season and will get another year off for
bad grades. Plus, he loses his scholarship. Dumb shit!

Bama's 5-star incoming freshman LB, Mack Wilson, tore the meniscus in his knee and will have surgery tomorrow. He is also going into surgery to fix a shoulder so will not play this season :(

Damn RT, got to feel for the kid but at Alabama might just be a great opportunity. He
would have only played on special teams with the backers ahead of him. A year to work
on the injury and learn and down the road if he is what Saban thinks he is...lots of money.

this is nuts ... type of shit Kirby never had to deal with as a DC. the SAME WEEK his previous charges were dismissed and he is arrested again :(

[h=1]Georgia’s Jonathan Ledbetter arrested again[/h]
ATHENS — Jonathan Ledbetter, the Georgia defensive lineman who had alcohol charges dismissed earlier this year, was arrested again on Sunday morning.
Ledbetter was charged with DUI and underage possession, both misdemeanors. He was booked at 6:05 a.m. and released on $2,000 bond at 10:24 a.m., according to the Athens-Clarke County jail web site. The Athens-Clarke County police was the arresting agency.
This past March, Ledbetter was arrested on two misdemeanor charges related to trying to get into a club with a fake ID and underage possession of alcohol. But the district attorney declined to press the charges because he wasn’t sure he could make the evidence stand up in court.
Initially after that first arrest, Ledbetter was due to serve a one-game suspension, as per UGA student-athlete policy for arrests. But after the charges were dismissed head coach Kirby Smart declined to confirm whether Ledbetter would still be suspended.
A two-game suspension is mandated for a DUI, per the school’s drug and alcohol policy. But it’s also not clear whether Ledbetter’s March arrest would figure into the decision.
Ledbetter, who is now a sophomore, was a highly-recruited four-star prospect who was in line for major playing time this season, if not a starting spot.
This is the seventh known arrest of a Georgia football player since March 20, and the eighth since Smart took over. Three players (Ledbetter, Chad Clay and Chauncey Rivers) accounting for six of the arrestes. Clay and Rivers have since been dismissed.

Kirby better get a handle on this crap in a hurry or he will lose this team. He needs
to put his foot down now and hard!

I'd suspend Ledbetter for the season and make him prove he belongs at Georgia.
