His Baseball thread had each game and the lines for the day analyzed, screened, filtered, digested, filtered again and scalped, right down to the umpires (Waldo's) pointing out which one's passed the most gas (farts) during the game . He was great to follow.

I heard he had some health issues that developed....I hope he is ok.

I remember him.from ways back with CPU and the crew. Those spreadsheets where dangerously good. He also had a good knack for 2nd half college basketball totals. But you had to be quick. Pops would give you the info but you had to sift through. Once in a while he would throw a bone and point out the obvious. I also heard he had health issues. He coined the term golden goose for guys like me lol

I don't know if he was serious or just bullshitting , but he said he was returning to the states to watch his granddaughter train for the Olympics and one of the legal provisions he had to agree to was to not post sports betting info.

....not sure if I believe that though ?????

Suspect he was holding up somewhere in the carribeans when he was posting. Probably back in the USA now. That baseball spreadsheet was a gold mine. I downloaded it daily and handicapped off of it. Them Waldos were gold. Miss the crusty old man.

I suspect he could wright a book.....I recall how "quick on his feet" he was......He didn't put-up with any bullshit or "cheer leading".........
I recall "Oil Can" (and several others) actively contributed in his thread.....on a daily basis.......
