Well... WE LOST A ROUGH ONE LAST NIGHT !!! I feel we had the game capped probably for the majority of the game...haha But didnt expect Volquez to throw lights out. Well done. Never expected !! I vetted that game out at a 5-1 win for the CARDS and they just couldnt score at all.

Gl Penny! Read Bochy is batting Bumgarner in lieu of playing a DH. Don't think that effects too much as the play is on Bumgarner's pitching but found that interesting. Bumgarner probably as good as any bench DH anyways.

If we saw value at -170, then we gotta love the value we are getting at -150!

My book has -145 now. Bumgarner is a stud, but the "betting against a sweep" angle is one that I've often found to be a mistake. Can't argue with Pennywise's success though, so let's hope Bumgarner is at his best today. Giants were awful in the field yesterday and Peavy was throwing a fit over it. Hard to believe Giants aren't motivated to play much better and try to avoid dropping four in a row to the A's.
