Why are the NYY laying -130?

Griffin is averaging a K per inning, batters are hitting .200 against him and he's throwing well. Yanks had a miracle come from behind last night, TX is a dominate ball club. They're currently even money.

What am I missing?

I don't think it's as much a line against Griffin as it is a line for Pineda. Sabermetric gambler systems LOVE Pineda. He misses a lot of bats and when successful, doesn't walk guys. A lot of pitches usually, but theory is he gets his 6 and turns it over to the big three.

That being said, I hopped on Rangers +132 last night before the 9th inning collapse anticipating to ride the Rangers hot streak. If it gets too low may buy off as I'm also on the U9. I think that may be the best play.

The only thing I can see is that Pineda has been pitching better the last 3-4 games. I don't get the line either. Griffin was lights out vs Yanks earlier this year. 1 run in 8 innings I think it was. I've got 2 units riding on the Rangers. We'll see how it plays out.

Pineda has pitched better as of late, but not against TX and Griffin has thrown well against NY.

Again, I think its just public (me included) jumped on Texas early....now theres value back on Pineda which some hammered evidently. Lineups are pretty much as expected, at first glance.
