Leaving June with a whimper. Hopefully start off July with a bang. I see 3 games that really stand out to me.

First off, Tomlin vs Stroman. I can throw out all sorts of numbers here. Tomlin 9-1. 5-0 on the road with wicked low whips and era's where ever he plays. Stroman still struggling. He's only surviving because he's been getting great run support. Will probably play 1st 5 in this one as well.

I've heard a few people say that Tampa sucks. Well they do, against right-handed pitching. 3.63 rpg. And Fulmer has been awesome so far in his rookie year. And yes, he's right-handed. Again, most likely will play 1st 5 in this one.

Padres are another team who struggle against righties at 3.52 rpg. Yes, Yanks have to travel coast to coast. They had an early game today. Late game tomorrow. They will get their rest. Colin Rea is another pitcher who's been getting great run support. I look at run support as a coincidence. Luck of the draw what pitcher he goes up against. Remember, Padres get 6.47 rpg vs lefties. Rea most likely has gone up against lots of lefties.

Tomlin is 3-0 lifetime against Toronto, take that stat as ya like, but personally, Cleveland has something special going and Rule #1 in bases is you never bet against a winning streak and sure as hell don't bet with a losing. I'll look for your pick in the par later today.

I think Fulmer dominates the Rays tonight. Making it the POD. May put another unit on it before I go to work.

Starting pitchers are pretty even. Rangers give more run support and have a .5 rpg edge vs righties. Poor performance in NY yesterday is extra motivation to win this game. I'll take -113 with a much better team every day.

Looking deeper into this matchup, Smyly's 2 past starts vs Tigers were 1 run games, but Smyly gave up the runs early. Fulmer has had some rest and can go deep into the game. He only let up 1 run vs TB last time out in 7 innings. The bullpen gave up the other 3, 2 earned. And as stated earlier, the Rays have trouble vs righties. This angle has been doing well for me so may as well stick with it when it comes up.
