Is it because they only do 3 downs?

Like....2 downs to get a first down then punt on 3rd down?

If so...I'd understand that. Big Big problem for me. Big.

Teams get ONE POINT for kicking the football into the end zone (which is MILES larger than our endzones) (plus the whole field is hella WIDER) if a guy from the other team doesn't try and return that football, if he doesn't find the courage to run that football out the endzone.

I kinda like that.

Don't totally understand it, nowhere even close to understanding it yet but what little I do understand of it...getting awarded a point if your opponent is Too Skeered to run the ball out the endzone....I like it.

Not saying we should do that just...it feels pretty good to backing a team when they get awarded a point.

Conversely though...when the team you've bet against gets awarded a point for that Endzone whatever....that feels really really bad. :(

So its a Give & Take on that getting awarded a point deal. has its Pros & Cons....for sure.

The Flags are Red and theres other differences.

Chief amongst those and apparently a new thing....teams can demand a review of pass interference calls.

Either to get one of those overturned or get one called that they feel should have been.

HUGE

I don't know if you guys would like that.

Its really really different.

Why are there not a ton of guys in here betting Canadian Football though?

I watched it last night, 2 games. And now I am watching another game.

The no 4th Down thing may be impossible to adapt to.

I can imagine how it might be a bridge too far...

If the game's on ESPN I'll watch it. Plus I always watch the Grey Cup game. I pay for the MLB package though, so when I have a baseball bet, I'm watching that instead.

Check the other football thread. Pennywise has released a few games. I wish all the games were on tv

It's summer. People on vacations. Pools. Gotta give the "Boys of Summer" their due. Not enough coverage throughout the Canadian season to generate interest. Just doesn't seem to generate enough excitement. Hate the position of the goal post. Americans are into American sports more due to coverage and popularity. Canadian's just aren't known for football but rather for hockey.
