What can one even say at this point.

HBO Comedy 'Silicon Valley' is in its 4th Season(?) maybe 3rd still....probably in 4th season.

Season 1 was kinda stupid, less mature & clever than the show becomes in later seasons but it gets better and the Bag-Head storyline by (and within) Season 3's ending is great.

Mike Conley is totally Bag-Head IRL.

Party at Conley's Crib this weekend.

Darren McFadden is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Pictured above alongside an Orange Ford Crown Victoria sitting on 24's near a Taco Bell, McFadden played college football for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and was picked fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders in the 2008 NFL Draft.

It might actually be Red. Not Orange.

[h=3]Marcus Monk's ride[/h]
Former Arkansas Razorback Marcus Monk had a 2001 Mercury Marquis similar to McFadden's in several distinct ways.

u mean bighead

and no b/c conley actually has been a top tier 2 way pg in this league for a while. the reason he hasn't been an allstar is b/c he plays in the west. dude is like chauncey billups 2.0 in that he has just been consistent his entire career aside from injuries.

chauncey billups 2.0 is a great comparison <><>

True, and mine meant to be a Joke of course...Apologies to Mike Conley for the inappropriate and lame comparison, massive respect to Chauncey.

Chauncey is doing very well in his TV Broadcaster role.

I never saw the Silicon Valley show, but if that comparison is anything close to the Razorbacks comparison.... then its spot on :toast:

Silicon Valley show is good due to it's mimicking the behavior/culture of the Tech Industry in Silicon Valley CA. Co-Creator of it is Mike Judge who brought the world Beavis & Butthead. The songs played during closing credits are amazing. Hip-Hop, Rap though...and sometimes shocking for lyrical content. The show is definitely not gonna appeal to as wide an audience as other shows would...especially the ending hardcore rap songs.

Don't get discouraged by Season One, it does get better in the ensuing seasons. Very Common for shows of course, to evolve like this.

Weeds is another very very good comedy series, you've likely seen that though....Weeds Season One was damn near unendurable but I was glad I pushed through to the later seasons.

That Final Scene/Closing Credits Themesong lane whoever is responsible for Silicon Valley's music has manevered the series into though is phenomenal, totally unprecedented for it's genius cuz all or nearly all of the music used is Underground (largely unknown) and much of it Bay Area artists.

So....artists right near Silicon valley itself.

Quentin Tarantino-level of Soundtrack genius I mean....

There will be no "middle ground" where agreement or disgareement is concerned on my opinion on this...

...people will either love it or hate it.

That pic is definitely not Conley's house.

Dang It. Busted again :(

What was it that made you know? I think I know what it was, just curious if it was that.

Yeah...that house a house that got auctioned off, I think, somewhat near his house, like, in the same area of Tennessee.

Hopefully Conley has a better money manager than Bighead. Moving the pool further away from the house but then moving it back towards the house was a sign of things to come. He was not ready to handle his newfound wealth.

This guy is the show taking a shot at Cuban obviously

Yeah!!

Awesome Illustration of the genius of the show, how "deep" it has evolved to in taking hilarious jabs like you posted and creating funny scenes based on Silicon Valley Culture, Economics....and.....yup!! :):)

I watched season 1 weekly and I didn't like it so then I didn't watch season 2 or 3 weekly. Binge watched season 2 and 3 over a few weeks. They're definitely way better.

The Russ Hannemon character should've been in season 3 more but I guess him acting like a douche can only make so many jokes.

Hey PF? What do you think of the Pelicans 2 signings?
2 players over 10 mill a season and I barely heard of them.
Especially the guy from the Pacers. Over 11 mill for a guy who averages 4 points a game

Only character I don't like is the tall skinny dark hair guy who is basically the operations manager for them. He plays the same exact character he played in The Office.

Both overpaid because Pelicans couldn't get anyone else. Hill if he can shoot like he did in the playoffs and 2nd half of the season is a decent roleplayer. He is pretty good on D, was surprised Indy let him go since they spent $ on some other guys. Moore is just an average 3rd or 4th guard.

I don't know why teams don't just blow a guy away with an offer rather than pay 2 bench guys 25 million a year combined. Just find some decent guy who is getting 18 million (we'll say Bazemore) and pay him. Yeah he isn't that good either but a quarter is better than 2 dimes.

With the cap exploding Davis is extremely underpaid for the next 4 years but it seems like no one wants to go there. No proven ownership, GM, etc

Yeah, I mean the real Wheelhouse Prime Demographic for this show, those who will get the most from it are gonna be people like yourself who have knowledge of stuff such as Cuban's Path, "Economics" in this brave new world...

Agree that they could have done alot more with the Hannemon character, I was real surprised they didn't make more use of that.

Shows so often do evolve to a decent place, Storylines get a chance to develop, writing gets stronger but a lot of it too (as we see especially with this show) is the actors growing into their characters, coming to work together better, play off of one another much more effectively. Their Characters develop, confidence grows in their performances.
