Georgia's new coach Kirby Smart is being tested early as a head coach with player
arrest, suspensions and injuries. With RB Nick Chubb still recovering from a serious
knee injury, Sony Michel was expected to carry the load until Chubb's return. Michel
broke his forearm Sunday in a non-football accident and is now doubtful for the
opener against North Carolina. Michel ran for 1,161 yards and 8 touchdowns
last year subbing for Chubb. Georgia plays North Carolina, Nicholls State, Missouri
and Ole Miss the first month of the season.

Not good news for the Dawgs...........................

Situation to keep an eye on......

Georgia's questions at running back still linger as the season opener is only a few weeks
away. Kirby Smart said Sony Michel (broken arm) is more limited than Nick Chubb (knee
surgery) right now. The Dawgs take on a good North Carolina squad September 3, and
the status of their top 2 running backs is still up in the air.

The line, Georgia -3 has remained steady so far but worth watching if neither running back
can play in the opener.
