made the request yesterday, received notice today that it's been approved and deducted from my account and will be mailed shortly (requested a check)

they asked a couple of security questions, but it was all seamless

now compare and contrast that to my requests for checks from 5dimes

1) they want a credit card authorization form, only after making a withdrawal request and many months after they processed my credit card payment
2) they want a copy of my credit cards
3) they want a copy of my drivers license
4) they want a copy of my utilities bill (supposedly for proof of my address)

they make requests for such info on a piecemeal bases, delaying the processing of my payment

they say they never received the info I sent

they say they can't read the info I sent

while it took Bovada less than 24 hours to deduct the funds from my available balance, it took 5dimes 2 or 3 weeks to do just that

it took 5 weeks to receive my first check from 5dimes, I think Bovada is going to blow that away

and when I complained about the 5dimes process in this forum, I was told that's the new norm for the industry and it's not 5dimes fault

haha, I'm calling BULLSHIT, 5dimes' customer service SUCKS and they delayed payout is entirely on them and their policies

Thanks to Choptalk for steering me towards Bovada, they do not have the same level of wagering options, but they have more than enough, their customer service is far superior, they're not managed by some asshole called Tony and MOST IMPORTANTLY, getting paid is much much much easier

I'll let you know when I receive the check

Good to hear Willie. Does anyone know why they don't take customers from MD amongst a few others?

Willie must have had a nice run!

in the middle of one, hoping the all-star break doesn't change that

but just in case it does, it's a good time to test their payout process

Everybody has different experiences, but in defense of 5 dimes...Yes, they require additional info but its posted on their site. I provided that info to them prior to wanting a withdrawal. When I was ready for a withdrawal, it went fairly easy after a little Live Help conversation and had a check in about a week.

Can't speak on Bovada as I never had a chance at a withdrawal and haven't been back since it was Bodog. I would always donk my poker winnings off on some ridiculous parlay or vice versa. Got to keep my poker roll and sportsbetting budget separate.

I have been a long time customer on Bovada or Bodog. Never had a problem, they are quick. Bovada also has a VIP or loyalty program that rocks.. I deposit 200 a week and get topped up 100% up to the 200. Rollover is 3x the deposit. So, once a week I deposit 200 and get 200 in free money. Can't beat that. Bet365 is also awesome. I make a withdrawal and get the money in 2 days at most.
The lines for NFL fav's with Bovada sometimes get really pricey and are not competitive as other books, but if you looking to bet the dog it is the place to wager with.

Good to hear.
You could have had your withdraw up to $3500 direct deposited to your card for free and you would have received your funds even sooner.

But it's all good.
Never got a check payout before so I can't speak for that.

You also brought up a great point on how soon they remove the request payout money out of your available funds. They are the fastest in the industry at doing that post Neteller days.

Can you deposit with visa debit card and get withdrawals on that same card?

Yes as long as the CC company allows you to hold a credit balance

The card I use is linked to one of my checking accounts. It's a debit card so basically bovada sends me a direct deposit straight to my checking account for free.

Thats even better then Neteller .

Its one less step

That's what I'm looking for. Checks from heritage have been my way but I'd like something more convenient...that sounds like it could be it. Didn't know that was possible anywhere.

It sure is.
Its one of the best secrets out there right now.
I have never even spoken to anyone at bovada ever.

Just press a few buttons and money in my checking account in a few days.

Its a one step process

I understand and appreciate much of what you're saying. However, my point is they should be concerned about that stuff when they're taking your money, not when you want some back. I also didn't like the approach of not asking for everything at once, making a different request for something new every time I called to check the status of my withdrawal (this can only happen when making your first request, and subsequent requests were processed quicker). I didn't like the fact that it takes them an extended period of time to deduct the funds from your balance, obviously hoping you lose it back to them before they pay you.

Finally, I was made to understand all this extra paperwork was the new norm, and now I learn it's not. There customer service was never very good, and then they simply stop taking CC deposits from me without an explanation other than "because they can make that decision", so I've gone from being one of their advocates to one of their haters, especially now that I've learned payouts can be so much easier.

I went through the same thing depositing to 5 dimes. They would ask for id then say it wasnt clear, then the guy say send it to a different email. On and on. With Bovada I use my debit card and I am betting in 2 minutes
