Texas at o/u 7 wins. Wow. New coach for sure if they cannot do that.
I have Texas winning anywhere from 5 to 9 games this year. This is by FAR the hardest team in college football to predict this season. The reasons are many. But it starts at the QB position, and which QB will Strong use. Will he stick with the Swoopes/Heard RB as QB type of players, or take a chance and throw the freshman in there. I think it could be the freshman, but I'm not sure by any means. Plus they have a new OC Gilbert, who is from the Art Briles/Dino Barbers coaching tree. So they should have an uptempo attack that utilizes the RB more. How successful this is again depends on the QB and how fast their inexperienced OL comes together. For Strong's sake, he better hope his freshman QB is the next big thing, or else they are going to still be a little one dimensional. I still think they'll be improved on offense, I'm just not sure how much. Plus their schedule is very difficult in my opinion. Their defense should be improved too. But they do have a few issues along the DL.
