I think he will be adequate. He is a solid lefty and can eat up innings which is what the Red Soxes need with Kimbrel out.
Do I think he was worth Espinoza ? Hmmm that is a tough one. I think the answer is yes...because the Soxes rotation is flat awful and them not getting someone like Drew P right now, they would be more or less sealing their fate... Porcello and Wright are about all you got .... outside of Price and me never being a huge Price fan...your options are so limited... So they pulled the trigger...
Hopefully KOPECH can stay off the blow long enough for us to see his 105 mpg fastballs in the show....but we shall see !!
