WINNA last night with the INDIANS coming in with an easy WIN !!

Alot of folks were posting all of this chit chat bout Santana yesterday and how good he is or how he has won/or looked great in his last 3 starts... etc etc...

The value in the game was not Santana. The value in the game is that Carrassco provides teams with limited opportunities. At times close to NONE. Parlay that with the fact that the TWINKIES are the worst team or one of the worst teams in regards to the capitalization of such opportunities. There lies the value.

But honestly even if you looked at Santana, is there anything truly there. Folks were saying that Santana looked great over the last few games. Ok, lets forget about the other 10 games where he has looked flat awful, I guess.....

Furthermore lets look at the last few and who did he play against ? A's ? Really? A tanking Ranger squad? The Twinkies have lost like 15 or 16 of the last 18 or 19 times they run him out here..... Huh ? Every time they run this guy out there...THEY lose....... well unless he tosses against the A's........ You see my point.. Winning can be tricky. Don't just look at the fact that a guy is winning...its about who he is winning against....etc etc...

Value in the game last night

Carrassco is a monster
Carrassco provides very few opps
Twinkies hold no advantage at home
Twinkies have 2 guys that can put together damage in that lineup ( No string of hitters to formulate a big inning)
Indians have like 7 .... hitters in a row that can do some damage at any time

So, you have a pitcher that provides no opportunities to a team that cant capitalize on them even if they are offered and possess a lineup with a limited hit string ...playing at home where they hold no advantage......ahhhhh INDIANS !!
