3-0 Today so far today. The over on the Yanks game isn't looking too good so far. Starting to look at tomorrow's card.

July 17th:

Marlins/Phillies over 7 -110 1.65/1.5

Fernandez is not as dominant on the road as he is at home. Phillies bats have been getting livelier. And Nola has to be good for giving up 4 runs tomorrow.

Big number, but crunching the numbers forwards and backwards points to a slugfest here. Tigers are batting .383 vs Nolasco. Boyd's era is trash. Minnesota's bats are alive, especially vs lefties, 5.21 rpg.

Gausman has been a monster vs Yanks this year, and the Orioles pushed his start back 1 day just to face them. Nova may get hit hard. Might have 1 or 2 more tomorrow. Good night.

I really like this Anderson kid. Not many games under his belt, but his era at Coors field is outstanding so far. What I'm more impressed with is the WHIP. It is high 1.46 at home. That tells me he knows how to pitch with runners on base and getting out of jams. Smyly on the other hand is a complete mess. This is one of those situations where I want to isolate both starting pitchers. This is Coors field, and don't want to take any chance with the bullpen blowing a small or even big lead.
