Have you ever been to any MMA events live, or is all your experience been at a bar with guys wearing TapOut shirts that could destroy any man alive? Just curious...

Yep. I enjoy the local and regional shows better than the big time shows.

same here. I was actually disappointed in the big UFC events. Been to a few over the years and I might be done with going again. Tickets are pricey for "good seats" its hard to see whats going on when they are on the ground. I end up staring at the jumbotron anyway so from now on for me its only local events in person and big events on TV.

Only boxing live

Sure local is better with fighters trying to win instead of not to lose

Just like 200 was a total bore fest DC could of fought him but decided he needs a win so just laid on him and Aldo ran the whole fight and Brock wouldn't fight either just back away and hope to make a tackle and get him down

Cool, and this weekend's show should be moved off of PPV as well, but they won't do it. Lucky for me, I'll be working a local show with twice the excitement instead...

Boxing is great in person! If anyone has never been before I always encourage them to go at least once.

I have always wondered about this because I have never been. I know very little about boxing, so while I think I would enjoy a big match up of people I have heard of as Heavy Weights, I wonder if it would be enjoyable to watch 2 guys I have never heard of. I know the CT casinos have some boxing matches, maybe I should go if you say it is good no matter what. When the Whalers were in CT I went to alot of games, and loved watching hockey live. When I went to minor league games and didn't know anyone, I did not enjoy it, so I am thinking that may be the case here?
