Astros picked a bad time to actually hit with runners in scoring position. Oh well, on to tomorrow.

Sometimes you are lucky guys, other times just unlucky.
At the end of the season lucky/unlucky is gonna be even.
The keys of your profit/losses won't be surely the lucky or unlucky times.

Yes but the Jays got rid of a Chavez that was the definition of a gas can for them. Feldman isn't awful, probably just had sole
emptions out there with him on the mound. Got to be difficult being traded then 6 hours later on your "home" mound trying to strike out a guy you were in the locker room with just a few hours ago.

That Chavez was traded for the gas can from the Dodgers. The Chavez that got traded for Feldman is a minor leaguer

Jesse chavez aka gas can who gave a three run hr against baltimore went to the dodgers for bolsinger and 1.15mil. This trade involved another chavez. Feldman is much better, i agree. I blinked and the game was over. I agree, muat be hard and the team knew him better as a pitcher. Not a good decision to put him out for duties tonight. Oh well, onto tomorrow bases. Three more games in Houston and we need what we can get. Boston ahead by one now..

Feldman is probably one of the best OVER guys around. I have made so much money off of this guy...I think he just gave us the OVER on Sunday. I think he gave up the blast to Miguel to get the cover... He has an uncanny ability to give up chunks of runs at the very worst possible time... Careful with that guy

Sometimes luck doesn't balance itself out at the end of the season. You only hope so...lol... look at my hockey thread from last season.. I tanked. Maybe that had nothing to do with luck, but bad capping.

But, At the end of the year it is either World Series or bust for the Jays. I didn't place a wager on the Jays and had initially Houston but was torn on who to take. This game came down to the wire which I thought it would. So, with this loss the Jays fall further from first. We got three more games with Houston and could use to get all three.
Did the Jays get unlucky with Feldman on the hill? Was it a bad decision for the Jays to put him on Duty? Is Feldman a Gas Can as Pennywise indicates?
Does anyone think that the Jays improved the Bullpen?

Jays improve bullpen with Sanchez but of course lost out on starting pitching. It all depends on if Stroman can stay consistent and if liriano can cut his walks

i am fine with grill cheese Sanchez and than osuna. I just hope that Cecil can improve to the point he can get a lefty out

What a bad choice with Liriano. Taking a Cy Young caliber player like Sanchez and putting him in the Bullpen with possible starting pitcher duties come playoffs and putting in Liriano. With the three trades the Jays made in the last while, they didnt do much to improve the Bullpen and us fans are wondering WTF??

Cecil has been improving much lately. This guy dominating just prior to his injury and looks to be getting back into his groove and i am hopeful he will be doing fine against LH hitters.
I don't understand all this talk about 180 innings limit as the reason for Sanchez going to the Bullpen. I suppose also that come World Series time, the WS hinges on innings 7-9 and Pitching will be key. But, no talk of Stroman reaching his limit nor him being a durable pitcher. Sanchez put on 25 lbs or so for this season to be more durable. Just don't know what the plan with Stroman is exactly. Donaldson is the voice for the Jays and has been the only one to make a statement on the move. He says he isn't the manager and doesn't make these calls type of reply which is code for the players don't agree with the move..

Capn Jay I don't disagree. I am also on the bandwagon on Sanchez should start. just roll him out there. I believe switching a pitcher from starting to relief just messes you up

Worst TRADE Angels give Hector Santiago ace on angel staff. Allstar last year. Last 6 games 6-0 1.78. For Nolasico from MINNY. Little cash & 1A pitcher in minors. He had couple years in his contract STEAL OF THE TRADES. Screw GM & Manager. I'm going tonight though.
