First off, I am well aware how difficult it is to be one game and win, nevermind 10. Think about it though, all it takes is 10 bets in a row, starting from 100 dollars and going all in everytime, you'd be at about 100,000 dollars. If you spaced it out over several months waiting for bets you really like, can you not win 10 bets in a row? Starting over with 100 everytime you lose before making it to 100,000?

I am going to attempt this and document it right here. (If that's ok) It can be a straight bet or it can be moneyline parlays to equal approximately equal juice.

I'll spread the money over several different sportsbook accounts.

Mind you I won't be placing a bet everyday or even every week. Let's see what we can do here....

This is my goal.

No bets today.

The same thing as doing a 10 team parlay.

I think you completely missed the point. Doing a 10 game parlay would be absurdly different. This is picking and choosing your spots. Spreading them out over the course of months only betting when you ''really like a game or two''

I totally disagree with you that it's the same thing as a 10 game parlay.

Well, math disagrees with you, because mathematically it is the same. With thousands and thousands of options to to bet on daily I think one could pick 10 solid plays if thy did their homework.

You would earn more comps though letting it ride on your own.

It's exactly the same. Only difference is your payout will be better.

I tried it once.
After I got to game 5 or 6 I just could not pull the trigger on an all in bet.

Just imagine after 9 games.

Can you bet it all on one game?

How long will someone let you keep a parlay open? Couldn't you just place a large parlay and leave them open?

Could run into limits too.

That would not be a problem. There's plenty of books out there that are reliable and pay. Spreading it out over many books is not difficult. That isn't the issue. I agree with poster who said that after you get to a certain point you would be very reluctant to go all in.

With all due respect Reno, I still disagree with it being the same thing as placing a 10 bet parlay. You're comparing placing a bet on a 10 game parlay in one day or over course of 2 days whatever to picking and choosing your spots over course of weeks or months.

I know you say many posters have tried this and yes I'm probably another guy with a pipe dream, however, most bettors do not do this. They have to bet everyday for action or they lose it in the casino or whatever.

I'm going to try it and I'm going to do it.

Wrong, especially if you are US resident!
There is a very small number of books out there that are reliable and pay - I'm talking about payout at least 10 K, when your original deposit was not more than 2 K.

You would need to move to Vegas to pull this out, in case if you go 10 W in row.

I'm in Canada. Pinnacle alone let's you wager up to 30g for many games. Thegreek, Bodog ,even our government lotto let's you bet fairly large limits. So again, at least for me, that's not an issue. I'm guessing it's tougher in the U.S and they crack down more on online sportsbetting than in Canada.

Believe me, the limit issue will not be an issue. I can wager close to 30 0r 40 g and then you add in close family that also have accounts at the government sponsored lotto sites and placing large amounts is hardly a problem. I've worked that out beforehand.

Pinnacle and thegreek and of course the government sponsored site pay. Everytime. No issues. I've had Pinnacle pay out 22g no problem no delays. Same with thegreek. Class A books.

30k is a pretty limit, but that's not really getting rich on one play limits, you'd need to be able to bet 500k.

Is there anywhere in Vegas where sports betting limits are like +30k? I've heard of guys in Vegas betting anywhere from 30k and up. I called Westgate. For what I wanted to do, their betting limits are 5000 / 3000.

I suggest taking a small percentage off the table following each correct selection.

Enough to at least buy a large stock of canned beans. Just for a rainy day....

Maybe in NFL, but most limits everywhere are 5k. You can negotiate them with the manager, but it's per game. Most of the time those big 50k bets are from whales. Guys that bet huge amounts on BJ, machines, ect. If a whale wants to bet a 100k on a game, they will accommodate him.
