Let's talk preseason football!

Yes Football is back, first preseason game is only 3 days away! And yes I bet preseason football, if there are numbers involved it can be capped, that'd my opinion.

Lets talk numbers for game 1.

Pinnacle's Line

Packers -1 -106
Colts +1 -106

The total is 36 -107 either way you take it.

What's your opinions on this? I'm leaning Colts +1, but I know historically the Colts are awful preseason.

Way to beat the # Reno. I'm going to have to take the Packers now, can't lay -3 -115 in preseason, not in this matchup.

Typically I just play dog ML's in the preseason cause who the fuck knows. Anything can happen.

Chip Kelly is 11-1 to the OVER in preseason
Chip Kelly is 5-1 ATS at home in Preseason

New season, new team, Kaepernick/Gabbert/Driskel/Lewis... all mobile QB's, and all have had lots of NFL playing time except for Driskel, and with the battles at the QB position happening, there should be some extended playing time at the QB position. And this secondary has looked pretty tough, with the new press he is trying to install on the opposing recievers, which have shut down most of the WR's for the 49ers in training camp (which isnt saying much, as their WR's are mediocre imo) But it is looking good if they can keep it up vs passing teams in the regular season.

Should be an interesting game, but looks to be a smart place to place your money on the OVER and -3 at home this opening week of preseason vs the Texans

Pretty much the home team will be 1.5 to 3.5 favorites, except week 3, where the actual quality of the team matters, and the totals will be low because starting QB's and #1 teams won't play much, and most assume coaches will be very vanilla with their play calls.
Then the lines will move based on info. Pre Season is the only time when Coaches are truthful, and info means something.
In this game, on a neutral field, Hundley was thought to be the best backup QB, but when he went down, the Colts backups are better than the off the street Free Agents GB is playing, and that's why the line moves toward Indy and Under.

Don't know but Olympic game ratings still intact. Coming up: Vodka shotputs, 22oz curls, mountainsnorkeling, and washer toss. Plenty to stay tuned for..

Here's something to look for this exhibition season. Mike Zimmer of the Vikes is 8-1 in his first 2 seasons(7-2 ATS). When you find a coach that actually gives a shit about these games(If Memory serves, Denny Green had a great Exhibition record), or absolutely doesn't give 2 shits(Betting against Marv Levy with the Bills in Pre Season was absolute Gold for years), it can give you some nice $$$ in these meaningless games.
