If Oakland can go say 3-2 in the long west coast to east coast games against
New Orleans, Tennessee, Baltimore, Jacksonville and Tampa Bay, then they
should have a good season.

Anyone doubt the difficulty of west to east coast travel better do some research.

I like this Raider team and hope they do well.............

i know all about the east coast west coast movement, but its not really an issue here,...they start at new orleans then come home, after that they go to tennessee then baltimore which they will not go back to oakland until the 2 game road trip is over and that will be their 5th game so it is not as bad as you think,..but know exactly what you are talking about

Start off 4-0? I very much doubt that. I'll go with under 8.5 but I wouldn't bet it. Oakland beat themselves and sre still coached by loser jack del rio. I see the upside but I think they need another year or two before they are a playoff team.

Great OL and talent on defense. Not sold on Carr being anything more than average. Lean to over but won't bet it.

3-1

The last time the Raiders had this good of a start to the season was a very long time ago. Like, pre-dark era long time ago. The Raiders were 4-0 in 2002, and this year's 3-1 start is the best for Oakland since that Super Bowl losing year. Hopefully, that is a sign of great things to come for this season.

Now my definition of great isn't Super Bowl great or anything, though that of course would be a dream. No, "great" is still just going 9-7 and breaking the curse of the 13 year non-winning season streak. This start definitely puts the Raiders in great shape to be able to finally break that far too long streak, though we certainly can't count any chickens before the hatching occurs.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

While I don't think they can beat the Bronco's, they have at minimum a split with the Chiefs and Chargers, They'll take the Jags, Hou, and Indy. That's 8. I'm pretty sure they'll find another win with the remaining between BUF, TB and one of the remaning division games.

Won 3 close games on the road, very un-Raider like.

They do have an easy schedule. I got them to win the division and do think they are live but tough to see that defense stopping NE or Pitt in a playoff game. They haven't made the leap people thought they would with all the FA signings.
