Hamels has been the victim of poor runs support lately, but has held opponent run production way down. Andriesse did fine against a poor road team in KC, got hit pretty good vs Minn, and rocked in the Bronx. Surprised at the low line and glad I don't have to play the RL.

Fulmer vs Porcello. Crazy stud rookie vs a seasoned vet having a career year.

Wow. Both the Twins and the Royals have been hitting the ball great lately. And both pitchers are a complete mess.

Roark is pitching lights out right now, and in his last 2 performances vs the Braves, he's gone 14 innings giving up 1 run. Teheran coming back off the DL.

Don't know if you've been reading biz's "Pitchers off layoffs" post, but interesting reading. Teheran coming off the DL so wise to bet against him. GL my friend, and got ya down for ova rova Twinkies featuring KC and the Sunshine Band.

I did read that T. It definitely make sense. I'd like to track strikes/balls and Ks/walks after coming off the DL, but just too much work.

Well, I watched Salazar last night, it was about as bad as I thought bad could get. Yeah, Tribe pulled the game out, but Salazar got the hook after an inning. He threw 34 pitches and 16 strikes, how bad ya want it. He walked at least three that I can remember, it was just God awful and all I could think of was Biz and his angle. I'm gonna see if one of my folks can data mine this and find us some algorithm, this is untapped territory imo. Might be able to help us this season, maybe not but surely next.
