You don't see small ball anymore, especially out of America. League teams not named Kansas City. Cano was swinging for home run only and he is really the one to blame. He probably has the best contact bat in the league to hit a base hit there or even a gapper, but he knew it was hit last at bat of the game and got greedy.
If if you're mad you should actually look back to that kid inning they squandered away. The 4th you have a guy on second and no outs. You NEVER run at second when the ball is hit in front of you, he would have scored on the next run. 5th inning and again guy on second no outs and nothing.
Mariners have two real bats and a bunch of other role players at best. Oh and by the way, I'm on the Mariners. Ha
