Just going to preview some of the teams and also look at some win projection totals in here for the 2016-2017 NFL season

Every year there is a new 5. The old 5 that made it last year...... Cincinnati out, Seattle out, Denver out, Houston out, Kansas City out.... IMO.

Vikings(won the division last year 11-5)

This team is deep as anybody in the NFL. Mike Zimmer really stashed away on his defense. This team is still under the radar going into the 2016 season IMO and are the team to beat in that division if you ask me. The wild card game vs Seattle showed this team is built. I think Bridgewater is solid and will only get better and the offense has quiet weapons outside of A.P. Time for Mike Zimmer to get some more credit. This team can match anyone in the league and put up a fight. They win in the trenches. This team is too good not to be a playoff team again. They play the AFC south this year, all winable games for them imo.

Greenbay(10-6 wild card last year)

The well oiled machines. Rodgers of course is set up for a way better year than last statistically. He should finish well above 31 touchdowns. By looking at their schedule you can see they will be overvalued in many spots this year. Playing the AFC south. Texans at home they will be overvalued, at the titans, home vs the colts, at jaguars week 1. Watch Greenbay go 1-3 vs those teams and Minnesota go 4-0 or 3-1. My issue is the defense and how either the front 7 will struggle this year or the secondary will struggle. They usually go hand in hand because if you can't get pressure your secondary is covering longer. The defense of 4 or 5 years ago is not there. They have young backup play makers though, this organization is one of the best at drafting players so there are some defensive sleepers on this team that can step up to the plate.

Steelers(10-6 wild card last year)
Look at their schedule. They could be 6-1 by the bye week. They might be 5-1 going into the New England game at 4pm before the bye week...it will be a good game. Their win total is 10.5. and as we know, the NFL regular season is more about your schedule than your talent. Fresh example, Carolina last year. I see Cincinnati as a big drop off this year. It will be a two team race for the division with the Ravens probably getting a wild card at home.

Bengals(12-4 wild card last year)
Not going to be as cup cake as last years schedule for them. A lot of the young hungry players they had(marvin jones, Sanu) on the offensive side is absent and more attention on the running game and A.J. Green. Makes you hold your breath when betting Andy Dalton. Yeah sure he can beat some bad teams once and a while but when push comes to shove with this team this year.... new coaching staff.. all of their best coordinators are gone. They have hard nosed teams to start the year.....Jets, Pittsburgh, Broncos, Dolphins, Cowboys. Plus they have to go to London this year before a bye week...who the fuck wants to do that. I just see very little that I like about the Bengals this year. Reeks of an under 9.5 for this team.

Just getting started...

Kind of tough on the bunglers, I think.
Their schedule isnt that hard & calling miami & dallas hard nosed teams is laughable imo.

To start the season nobody is bad yet. Imo dallas and miami are capable of that early on. Bengals defense only thing that will keep them from falling completely off. But they'll still miss out this year IMO.

Thanks. You too dog. They feel like a real football team. They are nasty and have pieces everywhere. Their O line concerns were patched up a bit. They grabbed Alex boone from the 49ers. And they got Andre Smith who was in Cincinnati with Zimmer and was drafted 6th overall in the 09 draft. So Zimmer knew this was his weakest part of his team. The defense got even better though. And this team is young as fuck. They will compete in all three phases. Zimmer might win coach of the year this year.

These team season totals are meant for unders I think. The oddsmakers want you to bet your favorite teams "over". Every year they want it. I said in anoth thread somewhere Oakland should go under 8.5. A lot of hype after an improved year. They were active during offseason acquisitions with reggie nelson, bruce irving, sean smith on defense. And the offense is supposed to be the automatic obvious improvement. So with that recipe it sounds like an over is in store. But they have four east coast games at 1pm. None of those are at 4pm. So that's tough to overcome. Plus I think they won some games last year and covered some that kind of just happened. I know they are a sexy pick to continue their come-up, but I just can't buy into them right now. Under if anything

Forgot to talk about the rest of those teams.

Baltimore over I like. Organization has too much pride and character to not rebound. They've only had back to back losing seasons since their 2nd and 3rd years od their franchises existence. So baltimore over is definitely a solid future wager

I'll cut it short cuz Ill never finish if I don't.

Jacksonville I kind of like this year. I think they're a 8 win team.

Sd might surprise some teams. TB I could see it but that division will be tough for them.

Atlanta will be better this year on both sides of the ball and so will the saints. Carolina going for 4th division crown in a row. So tampa is definitely up against it if you ask me but I see tampa as a team that will be a playoff team within a 3 year span

I hope you are right about the Saints but the offensive line has looked awful so far in the preseason. It was a huge concern of mine coming into this season with 2 glaring holes at the G position. At RT Strief will hold is own against mediocre DE but if he faces a strong DE its game over for Brees. LT Armstead has an undisclosed injury but says he will be back week 1 vs Oakland. Lelito sucks as a LG. They tried Andrus Peat all over the line and with 2 weeks left have finally put him at LG. Kelemete or someone else will start at RG. Who is yet to be determined. Its a shit show but with Brees we always have a chance at winning a game.

The defense will be improved but if the offense cant score we will be lucky to win 6 games. I am prepared for 5-11 this year. They could surprise this year but I wouldnt bet on it. Next year they might be able to make a run but Im counting them out this year.

They are only favored in 4 games and not by more than 3 points. We will see.

Goodluck this year Mob.

Nah you're right about the O line. Plus Jahiri evans had to be released for cap room. They needed to add talent to the defense. The identity of this team has changed a lot. They are more of a ground and pound short intermediate team nowadays...or at least they want to get to that style. So I think they can make it work with that O line with that style of play. Throwing ot 40 times to win a game probably isn't in their cards anymore. But they were busy in the off season. As much as I hate roman harper, they needed some leadership on the back end. They looked lost at safety last year. Besides Keny Vaccaro no one was making plays. Nick fairley, james laurinaitis. Are they a playoff team? No. But they are a team that had to make changes in order to compete. Lets face it, Rob ryan is a loser. They only had two teams the entire year under 20 pts. That's no recipe to win.

GL throughout

Steelers 5-1 headed into big showdown with new england next week. Saw that coming. That game will be hyped up so much.

Bengals look weak this year.

Oakland is a pretty damn lucky 3-1 right now with two last second wins.

Vikings the real deal.

Gb the truth still
