Updated MLB Record 41-34 +958

Today's Play:

Boston/Tampa Bay OVER 8

I almost fell off the toilet this morning when I saw this line! I had it at 10/10.5

I realize Bucholz pitched decent his last time out and as bad as he has been it seems he is always a possibility to show signs of his prior success and I also realize the Rays are not exactly an offensive juggernaut. In addition, I know Archer has been solid at home, but his career vs the Olde Town Team has NOT been good. Based on my write up you may think I would want to go under or pass on the game, but no, hitting this total OVER hard. I have been MUCH more solid on sides than totals for MLB, but cannot lay off this one that I had at 2/2.5 runs higher! Lots of runs tonight!

Wow, just saw that....what am I missing here, can someone please explain this line to me, because I cannot figure out how it is this LOW?!

I don't buy this newly refined bucholz BS. 2 spot starts against Arizona and Detroit doesn't change the fact that he is Clay Bucholz. Archer throwing 7 innings scoreless against the hapless Padres has them strangely excited I suppose. I don't get it either.

Both pitchers CAN be good, I just do not think BOTH can be good at the same time. Heck, they could both pitch "decent" and we still hit the number. I don't want to get too crazy, but may take a look at putting more on this game.

The reason why is this low is because both pitchers last performances... But we all know this two pitchers has been struggling during the year and we can't make a pick base on one game... So you are totally right, it's too low
