Cousin of NBA's Dwyane Wade gunned down while pushing baby stroller in Chicago

CHICAGO - Chicago police say a woman pushing a baby in a stroller was fatally shot on the city’s South Side.

Authorities say the 32-year-old victim was killed when two males walked up and fired shots at a third man about 3:30 p.m. Friday. Police say the woman was not the intended target.

She was identified in local media as Nykea Aldridge, a cousin of NBA star Dwyane Wade, who tweeted his reaction Saturday night:

</time>Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office say she suffered gunshot wounds to her head and an arm.

Family spokesman Pastor Edward Jones says Aldridge was a mother of four and was walking to register her children for school. He says the family recently moved to the neighborhood.

Police say one of the males who fired shots was being questioned Friday evening.

Police say the baby wasn’t hurt, and a relative has taken custody of the child.

Dwayne Wade was on ESPN the very night before this talking about, imploring people to stop shooting people.

Perfect Illustration of the wtf nature of "Black Lives Matter" and those who pop off on facebook, twitter when Blacks die.

You won't hear a peep out of BLM or the Social Justice Warriors, about this shooting. If Blacks did it, that is.

If a Black shot this Woman and all you had to depend upon was BLM to know about this incident you would never find out that this shooting took place.

Yet.....Black Lives.......Matter?

To them?

Black Lives are the LEAST important thing to the "Black Lives Matter" movement or Black People in general, to a large extent.

This shooting and also the other thousands of Black-On-Black killings illustrate this reality. Black Lives do NOT matter to many Black people. Or reducing the number of Blacks killing Blacks would be a thing you hear them whining about also.

BLM don't wanna make THAT (Blacks killing Blacks) a part of "the discussion" though. I do wonder why that is.

I'm not a defender of BLM and I hate their whole mantra on the police BUT the truth is you can't fault them for Not marching thru the streets of a ghetto that they live in and demand change or single out the gang bangers in the same way they do the police because at the end of the day they have to come back to their homes and their kids have to go back to their schools.....

Truth is, They are scared and I would be to.....it's easy to march down Main Street and scream about the police because the police ain't going to do a drive by later that night and fire bullets into the building they and their kids live in.

Honestly, they should round up all the white liberal idiots who march and scream with the BLM crew and send them thru the ghettos (with police escorts of course ) because at the end of the day they will be safe back at their Lilly white community tucked into their $300 sheets and to top it off it would get more exposure then your average BLM rally and might even get some dialogue started on the problems of the inner cities instead of just the same questions of why BLM (black BLM ) aren't doing something about it.

ML Dog.....it's too far gone for the community to step up and do something about it, it's going to take a stand from an outside group of either the national guard and we know that won't go well, or a huge group of BLM be it white or black as long as they don't live on the south side of Chicago, and they can police the area and do the protesting daily With police escorts.

Where will the money come from? Well, let's start with D-Wade and have him get into the pockets of athelete and owners to pay for it, maybe relief funds from the President, clean the city up, move military veterans with families into the neighborhood....start neighborhood watches, teach the power of family, create jobs.

In the Immediate Sense my solution would be to Try the approaches talked about by some intelligent black voices. These involve Improving the plight of Black Youth via Educational Opportunities, Job Training and the like and an addressing of (reduction, venturing away from) The Prison Addiction we have, as a country, where we do Jail Blacks rather than trying other alternatives.

I do wanna try to "fix" the Racial Challenges we face, give a hand up to those who want that and for those who don't I want Our Government to manufacture a Strong MLK-Like Leader/Community Activist who can Unite the Militant Black Demographic with the plan of inviting just the soldiers, those that earnestly desire physical combat against Police and White People, those that in fact DEMAND this and feel it is absolutely necessary (i.e. you very most Hard Core) to Training wherein over the course of a two-week period the very most Dangerous & Crazy would be allowed to remain and train at which point I would have the entire camp incinerated, destroyed.

Sounds Insane, yeah, I know but its really not. As RedEye said, some things simply can not be fixed. The Less We choose to embrace this reality the more we will suffer.

I am down for exploring solutions, by no means should my words lead you to believe otherwise , as though My Reality is that of a Modern Day Hitler all I am bringing to the table solely in the manner of Discussion based upon Reality rather than misguided falsehood is "Solutions" which are commonly spoken of Wisenheimer, these are possibly the equivalent of trying to make them more comfortable, make their lives better as an answer of how we can make less bothersome and unpleasant an infestation of our home by Cockroaches.
