Yankee catcher just went yard for his 11 dinger in his first 23 games.
Guy is hitting .400 and throws the ball like Pudge Rodriguez.
Would love to see these youthful yanks in the playoffs.....

Sanchez is a beast......looks like the next great Yankee.
Can't wait to see this kid play. I was a huge Pudge fan. Watched him pick guys off numerous times with snap throws. Damn Tico tv hasn't had a Yankees game on since the kid got called up. Easy for me to root for this A-rod less Bomber squad!

This is what people have the misconception. Maas, duncan, etc didn't have the talent nor hype like Sanchez does. Kid was talked about a few years ago. This kid is the real deal. Will he hit like this for a while? Probably not. That's baseball. Everyone has there slumps.

2 HR game tonight

Having thrilled Yankees Universe with 20 home runs in his first 51 big-league games in 2016 – tied for the fastest to start a career – Sanchez might have offered a summer preview on Thursday night.
Sanchez clubbed two homers against Boston lefty David Price, driving in five runs and sending the Yankees to a 9-1 win – and a series victory – against the rival Red Sox before 46,194 fans at the Stadium.

“I’ve seen that in the minor leagues for years now,’’ Judge said of Sanchez, who belted his seventh and eighth homers of the year in his 32nd game. “You saw what he did last year for two months and I think he’s starting to feel it a little bit now.

Definitely looking forward to seeing these guys in the playoffs, barring some major regression. Metrics showing NYY has a 76% chance to make the playoffs.
