According to Penn State University promotions, the late Coach Joe Paterno will be honored on Sept. 17 when PSU hosts Temple University football.
A release explains that on the Commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Coach Joe Paterno, the university will provide activities during the game that will take place to commemorate Paterno’s first game as the head coach at Penn State. Paterno’s first game was on Sept. 17, 1966.
