I'm sure some of you guys have life insurance through one of the more popular companies.

I currently have it through Alflac but i think it might not be near as good as other companies.

Any suggestions?

I'm a Northwestern Mutual Life guy. Other top companies include New York Life and Mass Mutual. Every year they're in the top 3 or 4 highest rated companies. There are services that rate them based on financial strength.

Companies that do the most advertising tend to be hurt a little based on that type of expense which doesn't help as much as managing your mortality exposure. It's more important for the industry to choose their policy holders wisely

Hey Hache, one of my very best friends is one of the top agents in Horace Mann and has his office in Tampa. If you want his contact information, just let me know. They are billed as the "teachers insurance company", but he does business with many non-teachers.
