To express a desire to bring people together, our team will honor the country and flag in a pregame demonstration of unity.

Better yet, Seahawks should repeat this when they face San Fran to smear it in his face. Also hopefully Kaeperdick is behind center when they play against each other...

Do we have the full details of the Seahawks plan? I am nervous they are still going to do something stupid.

<header class="entry-header" style="margin-top: 0px; color: rgb(119, 119, 119); font-family: "PT Sans", sans-serif;">[h=2]NFL Team Led By 9/11 Truther Might Boycott National Anthem…On 9/11[/h]</header>
SEPTEMBER8, 2016 By Bre Payton
Seattle Seahawks players say the team might boycott the national anthem during an upcoming game with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, September 11 — the anniversary of the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is a celebrity among 9/11 truthers. In a 2012 meeting with retired four-star general Peter Chiarelli, Carroll badgered him with questions about “every 9/11 conspiracy theory you can think of.”
<iframe id="google_ads_iframe_/1011927/TFC_300_by_250_2nd_0" title="3rd party ad content" name="google_ads_iframe_/1011927/TFC_300_by_250_2nd_0" width="300" height="250" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0" style="border-width: 0px; border-style: initial; font-family: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: bottom; max-width: 100%;"></iframe>

When asked about his status as a celebrity among conspiracy theorists who think the U.S. government perpetuated the attack on the Twin Towers, he didn’t shy away from it.
“Any notoriety is good I guess,” Carroll said. “I will always be interested in the truth, yeah.”
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane sat down and stayed silent during the national anthem at a preseason game last Thursday. He said his action was to show solidarity for San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick, who refused to stand during “The Star Spangled Banner” last month, citing racial oppression in America. Lane said he plans to continue to sit during the national anthem throughout the rest of the season. Other players say the Seahawks might stage a team-wide boycott of the national anthem on on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks this Sunday, according to The Seattle Times.
“Anything we want to do, it’s not going to be individual. It’s going to be a team thing,” linebacker Bobby Wagner said. “That’s what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals.”
Update: Several hours after this article was published, Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin said the team was no longer planning to boycott the national anthem.

I am a huge football, but if this whole team does this I will not watch the NFL. Again I love football, but I love my country a hell of a lot more. Someone needs to stand up and stop this nonsense. If I were to protest at work they would fire me. Who are these Fu**ing people? I understand that they have a right to freedom of speech and everything, but this is wrong. Make America Great Again!! The reason why you would be fired if you protested is because there are hundreds of thousands of others who could do what you do. Replacing you wouldn't be difficult. And if you understand they have a right to freedom of speech, why does it bother you so much? Shouldn't you go after flag-burners before guys taking a knee for two minutes?

not sure Cap has ever experienced the "injustice" he is talking about but that is a whole other issue.....

Fighting fire with fire is not going to work. I am all for freedom of speech but disrespecting others because you feel disrespected? That is not going to get anything productive done.

I do not have a problem when someone stands up for OTHER people's rights even if they are not experiencing it themselves...but I do have a problem with kneeling as to disrespect the American flag

They should just play the Anthem before the players hit the field. Seems easy enough.

If you can't even stay within the basic boundaries of this discussion, why even bother to contribute? There was lots of talk about how the Niners should cut him due to his protest. I think them donating one million dollars because of this speaks volumes about how anyone besides racists such as yourself aren't offended by players kneeling

"Who are these people"?

The mental equivalent of 2 year old babies amidst the Terrible Two's and Bitchy Teenage Girls is who they are.

Black folks robbed, raped and killed again last night.

"Its not ALL of them"

OH! OK Darling! No Problem then.

Silly Me.

Don't let a small percentage of Dudes in NFL, their idiotic actions, make you stop watching.

On 2nd Thought, if enough people would do this then.....maybe some Standing Up in response could transpire...

As if.

Therein lies the problem. Whiny Bitches gonna Whine & Bitch, 44 !Q having mongoloids and their liberal supporters gonna "protest" via Disrespect to The Sacred cuz they wanna piss people off.

To get Attention drawn to themselves. They all wanna be Kardashian.

And aint a DAMN THING that any one of us can do about it cuz anything gets done in response and little bitches whine "Racist" then the media runs with that, crucifies us.

Social Media is still in it's infancy. So what we are seeing MIGHT be just a phenomenon born of that New-ness, maybe its not gonna stay as bad as it is with Social Justice Warriors 24/7 Whining about every single thing, about "Their Beliefs" and their feelings. Maybe (hopefully) this becomes less, as our use of this new communication matures.

Whats for sure though is we know now what the outcome is when you give every single low-IQ having idiot & every Attention Whore on the planet a "Soapbox" from which to yell.

Again, this dude is kneeling for two minutes. Remember when veterans used to burn the flag all the time to protest the Vietnam war? This all boils down to being racist

After the Anthem the fans should walk out

Entirely Do-able as its not like they are gonna be missing anything anyways, SF vs. LAR.

Its what they will wish they'd done after sitting through this SF 6 LAR 3 Molasses runnig down a wall snoozefest.

Great Idea though slap.

O Wait.....did u mean MIA at SEA?

If so, Damn.

Harder to inspire a Walk-Out there. :(
