just returned home yesterday morning from my vacation in las vegas, and just wanted to share a little about it..

As always no matter what i had a great time in las vegas. It was a small but good group to be with taking in some NFL and some NCAA FOOTBALL games with being:SHARKY,and our buddy KEN,REDEYE and his SON JASON(i hope i remembered his name),AKILLIES,and a couple other friends. This was the first in person look at the new WESTGATE SUPERBOOK and it is as impressive as people have said.

Also the RED ROCK RESORT-CASINO which is where i stayed for 3 nights out of my 8,and i must say that i was very impressed on the place and would not hesitate to stay at again.I also went to the RED ROCK CANYON and that place is just amazing. What a site to see if you have not been there before.I made the most of vegas this time as i didn't do much sleeping as i was just caught up in vegas itself.

I also went with my sister in law to see Circue DU Solei (THE BEATLES "LOVE" SHOW) and it was fantastic.I had no idea on what to expect and i was just floored on the complete show,i would go see it again as it was that good. So,i really made the most of my trip this year and as always it goes to fast.

Did not do any huge winnings to mention, but that's ok as there is always next time.........Once again thanks to a great group of people that showed up making this a good time chalked up in the books.

the beatles cirque show makes the re-mixed music the centerpiece rather
than acrobats. however there is enough going on to keep one visually
and musically engaged. it is also the type of show where sitting too
close is not really advantageous IMHO.

I'm now 0 for 7 in Vegas, depositing 20k over the span of 25 years

Not sure what it is or why, I just can't win here.

I was actually plus a few hundred coming into today, but there was a dark cloud following me everywhere and every single table sucked. So much so, I'm packing it in early. I lost at everything, except one short session at Ceasars sports book playing video poker

Still love it here, from the shows to the pools to all the food, and especially the atmosphere

May come back in November, the palazzo is offering me four nights :hammerit

I've only been to Red Rock once to meet up with someone. Nice, but too far away for me to most of the action.. ( I'm a Strip guy )
I think the funniest thing is that I have never seen Beatles Love .... I basically Only stay at the Mirage as most know ... and have seen about 5 Different Circue shows, but Never Beatles Love.
It's not because I don't want to see it, it's just that most of the time we either have a Headliner Show or it's dark the week we are there.
Even my Host said we should see it... but there's always something else.

Back at the beginning of Aug when we were last there, we had 3 shows that we saw. could have gone to see Beatles Love, but 3 shows in 8 days is enough for me.

BAS,seriously if you are a Beatle's fan its a must see show.i'm usually not too much on shows these days as i was in the past but i am so glad i went to see this.......it was even pretty neat helping out with the banner or tarp whatever you want to call it,but we all had a piece of the material making waves during i believe the song,WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE,....it was a good crowd pleaser
