Roll Call for the annual Rx NHL Fantasy League (2016-17 version)

Hi Guys.

I reached out to VegasVic the other day and he indicated to me that he no longer wishes to run the pool but would like to still participate. I don't mind stepping up and being the 'commissioner' of the league however I don't want to be in charge of the money unless we play in Canadian Funds. If someone else would like to hold the money or even be the commissioner I have no issues with that either. Some other options are we could use League Safe or switch from ESPN to Fantrax and use the Fantrax Treasurer, both use USD. We need to get the ball rolling on this since we are only 24 days until puck drop. Below is the setup we used last year

Prize pool:

12 Teams, 3 divisions. $75 to each division winner, $75 to the presidents trophy winner.

Top 4 Teams Make Playoffs:

1st: $650
2nd: $350
3rd: $200

3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 5D, 1 Util, 2 G(Max 4 on roster), 5 Bench, 2 IR

GAA
Save#
Shutouts

Looks like 3 to go unless we go to a 12 team league which I personally don't have a problem with, but we prolly need to downgrade the roster sizes then.

This is the same setup we used last year with 12 managers. I don't think we need to change the roster size. If we are to do the 3 division setup again we will need 12 teams, if not 2 divisions of 5 and we will have to restructure the prize payout.

Thanks guys for stepping up. Keep me posted on draft date and when money needs to be in. Roster sizes look good as they stand, and 12 would be great. Still some time to get 5 more.

The powers that be here took away my PMs for alerting some friends of mine here its time for my contest to start, so maybe its better someone else collects the money in this. I dont know how I can do this without my PM's.

Yes, I'm in....Thanks for getting this going Adam and for the heads up Bushay. By the way, if anyone that is accepting the money gets it via pay-pal, it might be better to say it is business and pay the small fee. I ran a pool and had people send me the money via pay-pal the same way (family and friends) and the second year, they suspended my account because they said it was business....Anyway, I had the account reinstated but it was a big hassle. Just a heads up..........In any event, I am definitely in and I'm good with whatever the group decides.
