If you would have asked me five years ago the best quarterback in the NFL.....I would have painfully said Rodgers. He had great numbers. Now he is one the downward slide at age 32. Not exactly past his prime but he could start looking like Peyton did last year in the not so near future and with that the Packers will start to fall with him.

Last year I just remember watch him look horrible in a couple of key games including the playoffs and his stats last year back up that decline and was one of his worst seasons. Started out this year with 199 yards and 2 TD's and completed less than 60%......not exactly elite type numbers. Playoffs he was 56% completion, 235 yards a game and 4 td and 1 interception and a quarterback rating of 85 against poor defensive teams. So if you are looking at the quarterbacks to make your decision maybe think again.

On the other hand the Vikings won the division last year with running and defense and those should only be better this year. The offensive line was horrible last year and the Vikings spent money upgrading the offensive line. The defense will be better also this year than last year and the have young talented players. They will blitz and put pressure on Rodgers. Packers running game is not scary at all. The other place the Vikings upgraded is wide receiver.

Now to the quarterback which is why Green Bay is favored. Bridgewater only threw for 220 yards a game, 14 TD and 9 interceptions.......you can put almost any NFL starter in those shoes and not be far off. For that matter with a good running game and better receivers than he has had in the past Bradford may look great.

Vikings heart and soul is the defense and they won the game last week and I expect it again tonight plus I like our coach!!

Vikings on the moneyline....dont need any stinking points and under the total

Rodgers is on the decline at age 32? Good luck with that idea.

He was throwing to people off the street last year.

NStar I'm on GB and it does seem like the whole galaxy is on GB also, which is worrisome. However the number has been 2 all day. No way do they let it stick on 2 if it was as lopsided as it appears to the naked eye.

Also, from time to time the world does win. Hope tonight that is the case.

Just want to say that Bridgewater and Bradford aren't equal, whatever happens this game.

The Vikings win this game with Bridgewater. They *might* win this game with Bradford. That team was behind Bridgewater and I guarantee you the viking teammates aren't just as thrilled to play with Bradford and as sold on him this point as they were Teddy, stats be damned. That counts for something. They loved that kid.

Heart of the team is defense and defense wins championships. Vikes would have been 3 point favorite with bridgewater. His stats were not great but the offensive line was terrible for a rookie qb. I like the trade for Bradford because we would have had worse qb in the league without trade.

game going as called other than all day being held in check.

love Diggs and smith on defense, Barr is a physical freak

I checked the packers game last 4 games on the road when down by 1h. Packers are 1-3 on the road if down by 1h. The only win they had was against the lions with aaron rodgers 61-yard hail mary.

Pretty much handicapped that one right on other than our running game. Rodgers did not look like an all pro......might be on the downslide like I said.

i wish I could handicap all the games like that.

kind of hungry I think I could use a snack.......I think I have some Wisconsin Cheese I will go eat

A little late, but I had to give thanks where it is due. I always look forward to your posts as they are normally spot on. Thanks again for a winner. Good Luck for the rest of the season.
