If you have time and are a history buff take the Prince's Palace tour! It's well worth it IMHO. Enjoy the rest of your trip!!

Happened to me there too, no shorts allowed (It was summer though)

Rare, yeah, someone makes a New Years Resolution so far in advance,

probably doesn't lessen the commitment though.

Probably the absolute necessity for you to follow thru is not diminished by that advance proclamation.

Yep... sigh... wasn't bad yesterday, but it has been a bit tough... with humidity, and 5 hours of walking in sun.. lol.
Oh well.. this is definitely a trip of a lifetime for my wife and myself
