ML Dog, when we're talking about Syrian refugees, we're talking about giving radicals an unprecedented opportunity to enter our country. Chances that we allow extremists to enter are significant, chances we allow none in is very unlikely.
Remember, we don't even trust the accuracy of Syrian passports, yet we're going to allow citizens of that country in presumably without documentation in many cases (it's not like third world refugees are carrying legal documents, and if they are, we don't trust them to begin with).
We're not reinventing the wheel here, there's a history, just look what's happening in Europe.
It's mind-boggling to me how we can't learn from experience and history, butt there's a certain demographic that simply chooses to ignore all the evidence in order to advance their political agenda and advance their trumped up racism charges.
Just to play Devil's Advocate here, possibly offer a glimpse of what our politicians are "up against" where regards
the question of whether preventing Terror Attacks is the most +EV path for them to take:
What about the massive amount of revenue that Terror generates? The need for Security Devices, Extra Law Enforcement, Medical Personnel, the Pharmaceuticals, bandages etc (Medical Supplies) that get consumed thus new supplies sold,
the MASSIVE amount of dollars that politicians can get spent within their districts to combat Terror?
And the number of other revenue-generating aspects of Terror?
The ability for politicians to ramrod though Special Provisions (money or laws) by tacking those onto Anti-Terror Legislation and Spending Decrees?
Would not the eradication of Terror (and war) be very very -EV for politicians? So much less $$$$ then earned by some of their biggest dollar supporters?
This nation absent Terror Attacks, how many Jobs get lost? Become to be eliminated?
