I couldn't believe Jimenez came into the game
with his "stuff", I was worried one of the Jays' big bats would very likely get a hold of one, duuuuuuh
and if you want to use a starter, why go to your worst one?
looks like Buck was playing for the next series, which will now be in Florida in March

since aug. 25th ubaldo was the best oriole starter, problem being he has no experience as a reliever. If he wasn't going with Britton, Bundy would have been a better choiceI couldn't believe Jimenez came into the game

Ubaldo threw 5 pitches for 3 hits and 3 earned runs lol.. Buck shoulda at the least walked Encarnacion to load the bases and hope for a double play. Horrible managing
Please Explain ....
Doesn't matter to me, I was on the Jays ... but you would think, he would be used
if you wanna argue in defense of him and being a strategist, or a genius or whatever you want thats fine, but the most indisputable moment was when there were 2 men on with 1 out. HE HAS TO BRING BRITTON INTO THE GME IN THAT SPOT. its not debatable. "This year Britton recorded 9.14 ground balls for every fly ball. Rangers reliever Sam Dyson was second best in the league with 4.09 ground balls per fly ball allowed. Third-best was Jeremy Jeffress at 3.75. In other words, Dyson and Jeffress are hard-throwing sinker-ballers who stand out for their ability to generate ground balls; Britton is an outlier that defies full comprehension."

with your season on the line needing a double play or a strike out, he struck out 74 in 69 innings so if he doesnt get the ground ball, there is a great chance he gets the K. he left the best pitcher in the pen.
Buck needs to go. Guy is a proven loser and last night was the final nail in the coffin.
