wtf Roberts. Could have pitched the rookie at home vs another rookie. Now u have to do Hill on short rest on the road again. Or risk the rookie in DC

Ya, I don't understand it either. You have to win 2 games advance. You have to think that Urias/Kershaw on full rest > Kershaw on short rest / Hill on short rest. The one argument you could make for going with Kershaw today is how early Roberts had to go to the bullpen the last two days. They need someone who can go at least go 6-7 innings today.

Kershaw on short rest last 3 postseasons: 21 IP, 10 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 23 K. 1.71 ERA.

It would be a 0.47 ERA if they had a bullpen they could trust in 2014.

Kershaw in previous years on short rest did OK but he was at the top of his game.
But lately he does not look right, he was clearly frustrated last outing with his command, this could be a disaster.
Not fond of Ross but Nats are resilient. LA bullpen is depleted.
I tend to think Nats +200 and over 7 is the way to go today.
