Well Finally broke out in the Westgate Supercontest a little going 4-1, which I posted in last weeks thread http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=1065054
Also went 4-1 and 5-0 in the LVH Style Contest here at the RX .... which hasn't been good for me until last week.
Is this the Break Out that I have been looking for and will I do just as good this week ? Not sure... I hope.

But last week the games just stood out to me ... this week, not so much. Guess we will find out.

So what did we Learn from Last weeks Games ??

We Learned that some thought Tom Brady would be a little Rusty being out for Four Games .... Well if that's Rusty, then the rest of the NFL is in Trouble !
To be honest, I thought he would be and liked the Browns to cover ... but as we can tell by now, there's no hope for the Cleveland Browns
as they just might get the #1 Pick Yet again next year

We also Learned that the Eagles were truly a Trap last week as some thought and after a Bye week, they lost a little something coming into Detroit.
They should bounce back this week IMHO.

We Learned that Andrew Luck isn't that bad last week, and that even though the Bears looked like a Winner last week, they fail again

We Learned that the Titans do have a little Winner in them, even though it was against Miami who might be the 2nd worst team in the league
But I like how they did it.

We Learned that the Vikings are probably #1 or 2 in the League ... and for sure the Best in the NFC
Last weeks game was against the team I thought was the most Over rated 3-1 team, but still their Defense is Great, and Sam Bradford has been a Perfect fit for them.

We Learned that the NY Jets doesn't need Fritz to throw any INT'S to lose a Game .... Another team that Looked good in the First half
and just packed it in for the 2nd Half. Guess they forgot that the game is played for at least 60 minutes.
Now don't get me wrong here, The JETS have had the TOUGHEST Schedule to start the Season and it doesn't get better this week with the Cards up next.

We Learned that the Atlanta Falcons are for Real .... well at least for now since it's usually around week 8 or 9 that they start playing like a High School Team.
But they did beat the Denver Broncos. With or Without their Starting QB, Their Defense was Very Flat and that worries me a little.
Do they Bounce back Thursday Night ??

We Learned that the Buffalo Bills have really turned it around ... I Personally didn't think they could beat the LA Rams, but Thanks to Jeff the Idiot Fisher helped to prove me wrong.
Don't know What he was thinking on that Fake punt, but I think it was the start that cost me my only loss in the Westgate.

We also Learned that the Cowboys looked good last week taking care of Business like I thought they would.
Dak Prescott doing just the little things to get his team the Win, and of course with the help of their Great RB Ezekiel Elliott who had 134 yards rushing last week on 15 carries. This guy reminds me of another running back that played for the Cowboys and his name also started or an E
Emmitt Smith.

Too early to say that... but the kid is pretty good.
All this without dez bryant too.

Ok, will be back with a Thursday Night Play .... and of course any articles, Picks, trends and Injuries ...

Keep an eye on the weather in the Pacific North west this weekend.

We are getting the remnants of a Pacific Typhoon "songa" and it may be done by Sunday 1pm but wind and rain could have an effect on the Seattle / Atlanta Game.

Dome team exposed to those elements.

Steve Smith is "icing up."

The Ravens receiver did not practice Wednesday after sustaining an ankle injury that knocked him out of Sunday's loss against the Redskins.

Smith suffered a torn Achilles last season that caused him to miss half the season. That injury postponed Smith's planned retirement at least another season, as Smith didn't want to go out that way. Now Smith faces another injury hurdle as the Ravens try and get back on track after two home losses following a 3-0 start.

Fellow veteran Ravens receiver Mike Wallace is also nursing a rib injury and was in a red non-contact jersey at practice.

Here are some other injury updates we have on Wednesday:

1. The Jets placed wideout Eric Decker on injured reserve, the team announced. He will likely have shoulder surgery and his season is likely over, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

2. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is back at practice. This is his first practice since suffering a concussion since a loss against the Falcons two weeks ago and it's a positive step towards him returning to the lineup. Jonathan Stewart (hamstring) is also back at practice.

3. Chiefs star pass rusher Justin Houston has been cleared to resume football activity but is not yet off the PUP list after undergoing an offseason knee scope to fix his ACL. The earliest Houston can come off the PUP list is Monday, per the Chiefs.

Running back Jamaal Charles was a full participant in practice for the first time, Andy Reid said. Charles got minor action against the Steelers on Oct. 2 but should get a bigger load against the Raiders on Sunday.

4. The Bills got good news on receiver Sammy Watkins. Watkins won't need surgery on his problematic foot and could return before the season is over. He is currently on injured reserve.

5. Browns quarterback Cody Kessler said his plan is to be ready to start Sunday. Kessler was injured during Sunday's loss to the Patriots, leaving with chest and rib injuries. He expects to practice some today.

6. Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant plans to work in individual drills and on the side, coach Jason Garrett said. The Cowboys will see if their star wideout can up his activity during the week.

7. Dolphins running back Arian Foster is practicing. He's missed the last three games with a hamstring injury.

8. Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul missed practice with a groin injury. Cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Eli Apple were involved in a limited capacity.

9. The Eagles will be without Bryan Braman (shoulder), Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) and Fletcher Cox (ankle) at practice, coach Doug Pederson said. The coach added they should all be ready to go Sunday against the Redskins.

10. Lions defensive tackle Haloti Ngata is expected to miss two to three weeks, Rapoport reported. He left Sunday's game with a shoulder injury and is still undergoing tests.

Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah (ankle) is back at Lions practice for the first time in three weeks. Linebacker DeAndre Levy (quad) is still missing, along with Eric Ebron (ankle).

11. Browns guard Joel Bitonio will miss some time with a mid-foot injury, Rapoport reported.

12. Packers running back Eddie Lacy (ankle) is set to miss practice because he will be in a rehab program Wednesday, coach Mike McCarthy said. In addition, cornerback Sam Shields continues to make progress working through concussion protocol, McCarthy said.

San Diego Chargers fans have been shoved through the ringer over the first five weeks of the season.

In blowing double-digit leads to the Chiefs and Saints -- and crumbling last Sunday against the upstart Raiders -- the Bolts find themselves glued to an ugly statistical footnote: San Diego is 1-2 in games this season where they held a 13-plus point lead, while the rest of the NFL is 36-0 in such tilts.

You can point to the litany of injuries or blame giggling kicker Josh Lambo if you must, but that won't change the task ahead: knocking off pass-rushing whirlwind Von Miller and the world-champion Broncos on a short week.

Chargers coach Mike McCoy is under pressure to deliver a victory and halt an ugly 10-game skid to AFC West opponents, the NFL's longest divisional losing streak.
Here's what we'll be watching for as the Broncos (4-1) and Chargers (1-4) clash on Thursday Night Football, set to air on both CBS and NFL Network plus you can live stream it on Twitter:

1. The Denver Broncos won't have coach Gary Kubiak in the fold -- he's been sidelined by a "complex migraine condition" -- but they do expect starting quarterback Trevor Siemian to return after missing Week 5 with a non-throwing shoulder injury. Interim coach Joe DeCamillas also hopes Donald Stephenson (calf) will return at right tackle, which would alleviate two big issues from last week's loss to the Falcons. Siemian, today, is a much safer choice under center than Lynch, who unfurled a rash of off-target lobs and dangerous downfield darts against Atlanta. The athletic-but-raw rookie wasn't helped by the combination of Ty Sambrailo and Michael Schofield, who doubled as open barn doors at right tackle. The wayward duo allowed Vic Beasley and the Falcons to do their best impression of the 1986 Giants, sacking Lynch six times and knocking him around from wire to wire.

2. The Chargers have lost four games by a combined 14 points this season, making them just the fifth team since 1940 to start 1-4 with a point differential of 10-plus or better. Their ability to score points is no fluke, as San Diego has ripped through secondaries with a highly frisky air attack. Despite losing weapons Keenan Allen, Stevie Johnson and Danny Woodhead, the Bolts are one of just two NFL teams averaging 30-plus points per game. The Falcons -- who knocked off the Broncos last week -- are the other, but these are vastly different attacks. While Atlanta piled up yardage and points by matching their speedy, pass-catching backs against Denver's inside linebackers, the Chargers don't have the bodies to duplicate that game plan. San Diego's offense is based around occasional big plays from boom-or-bust runner Melvin Gordon and a vertical passing game that has leaned heavily on three-wideout sets all year. That won't change on Thursday night.

3. The Broncos hoped to run the ball early against Atlanta, but the game script took them elsewhere with C.J. Anderson and rookie Devontae Booker combining for just 64 yards. Ground yardage won't be easy against a Chargers defense allowing an eighth-best 83.4 yards per game without a single team topping the 100-yard rushing mark through Week 5. That should lead to Siemian picking away at San Diego's 28th-ranked pass defense with lobs to Emmanuel Sanders (who leads the team in targets and receptions) and Demaryius Thomas, who has a touchdown catch in three straight games for the first time since 2014.

4. San Diego will attempt to expose Denver over the middle with Antonio Gates, the talented tight end who returned to action last week and forms an interesting duo with Hunter Henry, the productive rookie who has posted 60-plus yards in each of his last three games. Also keep an eye on Tyrell Williams, the second-year receiver who exploded for 117 yards last Sunday against Oakland. When Rivers isn't targeting Williams, expect at least two or three home-run shots to deep threat Travis Benjamin, who leads the Chargers with 78.8 yards per game through the air.

5. Denver's defense needs no introduction. After guiding the Broncos to a Super Bowl title last February, the Von Miller-led unit has not skipped a beat, allowing fewer points per game and passing yards per tilt in 2016 with a whopping 3.8 sacks per outing. While Atlanta's Matt Ryan carved them up, Denver has been a nightmare for passers, holding the previous seven quarterbacks faced (including the playoffs) to a 59.1 rating. San Diego must get creative against cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Chris Harris and protect the ball after committing three-plus turnovers in three straight losses. It's a desirable setup for Miller, a Defensive Player of the Year candidate whose 6.5 sacks currently rank second in the NFL.

6. The Bolts could use a fast start from Gordon. The second-year back leads the NFL with seven touchdowns, but he's also tied atop the league with eight fumbles over the past two seasons. After opening strong, Gordon has been held to just 46.7 yards per game since Week 3 -- at a dismal 2.8 yards per carry -- which raises questions about his status as a featured workhorse. With Woodhead and Branden Oliver sidelined, though, this is Gordon's operation. The time is now to show a national audience what he can do.

7. Do yourself a favor and stay focused on Chargers first-round pass-rusher Joey Bosa. With his annoying holdout and hamstring injury in the rear-view mirror, the No. 3 overall pick recorded two sacks and three tackles for loss in Sunday's debut, showing incredible burst and aggression on limited snaps. Bosa will see a bigger workload Thursday and boasts the raw ability to impact this game from end to end. His stunning debut offers a dose of hope for a Chargers team off to a hyper-rocky start.

Tonight I'm going with this Play [#104] DEN BRONCOS/SD CHARGERS Un 45 -115 2 UNITS

I just think that whatever Offense that the Chargers have had this season will be brought down to earth.
Denver had a bad game last week and SD just doesn't have all those type of weapons that the Falcons have.

Under is also 5-1 in the last 6 games @ SD in this match up.

And don't forget back to back trips across the country, extra rest
for Seachickens. Bad spot for the Falcons.

The Browns' vaunted rushing attack just took a hit.

Cleveland placed starting guard Joel Bitonio on injured reserve Friday with a mid-foot sprain. Coach Hue Jackson said "there's a good chance" that Bitonio's season is over. Bitonio said he doesn't yet know if he will have surgery and will meet with a specialist next week.

The Browns' second-round pick in 2014 helped Cleveland to a surprisingly effective run game. Cleveland is fourth in average yards per carry with a resurgent Isaiah Crowell leading the charge in the backfield. Bitonio has played a part in that success, starting all five games this year.

The 0-4 Browns face the Titans on Sunday.

Tight end Gary Barnridge (hip/forearm) is questionable. The Browns ruled out quarterback Josh McCown (shoulder). Cleveland has maintained that Cody Kessler (ribs) would start Sunday against the Titans.

Here are some other injuries we are tracking on Friday:

1. Eddie Lacy (ankle) is making progress, coach Mike McCarthy said. Lacy said Thursday it was going to come down to Sunday whether or not he will play the Cowboys. Lacy is at least trending in the right direction.

2. Eagles running back Ryan Matthews was excused from practice with an illness.

3. Theo Riddick was ruled out Sunday. Riddick has an ankle injury. DeAndre Levy (quad) is still missing from practice as well, though backup running back Dwayne Washington (ankle) returned.

4. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski didn't practice with an illness and is questionable to play Sunday. Gronkowski is still dealing with a hamstring issue as well.

5. Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert was ruled out for Sunday. Eifert had been hoping to return this week after an ankle injury in the Pro Bowl kept him out this season. Then a back injury slowed his progress, leading to him missing another game.

6. Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant (knee) will continue to do individual work and Jason Garrett doesn't anticipate him practicing fully. Garrett did say he's optimistic about Dez's progress. Bryant was officially questionable. Surprisingly, Jason Witten (chest) is questionable with a chest injury. Cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hamstring) is expected to be back in Week 8 after Dallas' bye week, owner Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan.

7. Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (hamstring) is doubtful to play Sunday. Coach Rex Ryan left open the door that Dareus could see action against the 49ers, saying he isn't one of those coaches that says you must practice in order to play.

8. Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is questionable for Sunday after not practicing. He entered the concussion protocol earlier in the week. Safety Su'a Cravens is participating in individual drills. He's been in the concussion protocol this week. Wideout Josh Doctson (foot) is out.

9. Jets coach Todd Bowles said linebacker David Harris (hamstring) didn't practice and center Nick Mangold (knee), cornerback Darrelle Revis (hamstring) and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) were limited.

10. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (concussion) has been ruled questionable for Sunday. He remains in the concussion protocol. Receiver Kelvin Benjamin (knee), defensive end Charles Johnson (quad) and running back Jonathan Stewart (hamstring) are also questionable.

11. Broncos offensive tackle Russell Okung and receiver Cody Latimer are both in the concussion protocol after Denver lost to San Diego on Thursday.

12. Giants cornerback Eli Apple (groin), defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (groin), running back Rashad Jennings (thumb) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (groin) are all questionable.

13. Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (ankle) and cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) are both questionable to play.

14. Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil (foot) has been ruled out. Receiver Steve Smith (ankle) is doubtful.

15. Dolphins running back Arian Foster (hamstring) will be a game-time decision, coach Adam Gase told reporters. Foster si officially questionable. Tight end Jordan Cameron (concussion) and cornerback Xavier Howard (knee) are ruled out. Safety Reshad Jones (groin) is questionable.

16. Raiders running back Latavius Murray (toe) was ruled out.

17. Texans wideout Will Fuller (hamstring) and offensive tackle Duane Brown (knee) are both questionable.

18. Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor (groin) and running back C.J. Prosise (wrist) are both questionable.

19. Colts defensive back Darius Butler (hand) is questionable.

20. Rams defensive end Robert Quinn (shoulder), defensive tackle Michael Brockers (hip) and defensive end William Hayes (ankle) are questionable. Cornerback Trumaine Johnson (ankle) is out.

I'll break the silence but will be a cold day in the Everglades before I ever post a play on the RX again. That being said, Cam will play this weekend and it looks like Stewart will as well. With those two in the game, I like, shit, said I wouldn't post a play, let's say the Panthers O is gonna be a hell of a lot more productive. Read between those fine lines. GLTA

One more tidbit to go with the above......The Panthers secondary will be comprised of two rookies, a guy off special teams, and a guy just signed to the practice squad. They lost their lone corner with any kind of experience in McClain who suffered a hamstring injury yesterday in practice....guess Brees is gonna have his game of the season. OvaRova.

The Packers have a tailback problem.

Green Bay will be without its backup running back James Starks on Sunday against the Cowboys after he was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday with a knee injury.

Eddie Lacy's availability is also up in the air, as Green Bay's lead back was most recently listed as questionable with an ankle injury after leaving last week's win early and being limited in practice all week.

Fullback Aaron Ripkowski is the only other available running back on Green Bay's active roster. If Lacy is unable to go, look for Randall Cobb and Ty Montgomery to see snaps as runners out of the backfield in his absence.
Cornerback Quinten Rollins (groin) has also been added to the injury report and is questionable to play against the Cowboys.

Here are the other injuries we're monitoring for Sunday's games:
1. Cam Newton (concussion) has been cleared to play against the New Orleans Saints, the team announced Saturday. Newton missed Carolina's Week 5 loss to Tampa Bay after sustaining the concussion in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He was listed as questionable on Friday, when coach Ron Rivera said that "barring a setback," Cam would be good to go.

2. Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) was downgraded from questionable to out against the Eagles in Week 6, the team announced Saturday. Reed did not practice this week. Rookie safety Su'a Cravens was also downgraded to out with a concussion.

3. The Patriots are shutting down Jonathan Freeny. The fifth-year linebacker was placed on injured reserve on Saturday with a nagging shoulder injury. Freeny started four games in 2016, but totaled just 10 combined tackles and one forced fumble. In his stead, New England activated defensive linemen Geneo Grissom and Anthony Johnson to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.
