Maybe a homer play but Dodgers have faced adversity all season and have come through like when they were 6 games back when Kershaw went down yet still won the division. Plus Dusty Baker's teams have a history of choking in the post season.

You are about to get a vacation

And I'm not on one? LOL, you're amusing me BAS. THIS is a forum, opinions make up a forum. I question this guys reasons for a damn stupid bet and you want to axe me? I admit, the other comment was a little OT, but I agreed to stay the hell out of that moron's threads and then he comments on one of my posts. GREAT double standard. Ban me if ya have to, not posting plays here right now anyway beca~T~use of the asinine handling of the post review. Do what ya have to (still want the cat though, lol).

Wow, no respect for the mods or the forum. This is a PRIVATE forum, so you either play by their rules or you get the boot. Sounds like you deserve a great big one...azzkick(&^

Never seen him before but reviewing his post history proves he's 100% troll. What's ironic is that he accuses me of "touting" but he's the one acting like a tout threatening not to post his plays if he doesn't get his way, as if anyone is on their knees begging him to post them. LOL!

GL on your plays.

If you want to talk about adversity not having Strasburg and Wilson Ramos would be a worthy discussion.

Dodgers set the MLB record for the most players going on the DL. At least the Nats have Scherzer, a Cy Young winner who is a legitimate #1 starter. Who on the Dodgers is a legit #1 without Kershaw? None. They won with bunch of rookies and a washed up Kazmir.

Does Maeda winning 16 games or Hill who won 12 games count as legitimate starters?

Maeda on the Nats would be a 4th or 5th starter.

Rich Hill is just 3-3 for the Dodgers so I don't know why you're claiming 12 wins.

If you're still trying to debate that Nats had it harder than the Dodgers, you won't win. 28 players went on the DL (MLB record) including their best player for 2 months. Yet they managed to go from 6 games back to running away with the division with a bunch of rookies.

DL just excuses. I guess the 9-3 record, 2.25 era, Hill had with Oakland doesn't count ... I think they count as major league wins and he won with a lousy team. Just how many teams have a 4th or 5th starter who won 16 games? He would have been tied for second most wins for the Nats. Dodgers will choke in the playoffs like they usually do. Biggest payroll in baseball and last won a world series in 1988 ... 28 years and counting.

Having all your best players go on the DL is an excuse now? Wow, you sure are clueless about sports.

How does Rich Hill going 9-3 with A's help the Dodgers? He's 3-3 for the Dodgers, nothing special. Even had he won 12 games with Dodgers, that would make him a middle of the road starter.

Maeda wouldn't be a 4th or 5th starter for the Nats? 1. Scherzer 2. Stras 3. Roark 4. Maeda/Gio. First 3 all had better seasons than Maeda. Btw Maeda is a ROOKIE which you don't seem to know.

Dodgers have been choking because Mattingly can't manage. It's different now with Dave Roberts, who has a much higher baseball IQ and better in game strategy. Speaking of choking, how many WS titles do the Nats have? Yeah, that's what I though.

DL ... the excuse you'll be using when they lose. Damn, it's really ashame that the Dodgers were the only team to have guys go on that Dl. Strasburg and Ramos mean nothing to the Nats.

No excuses. I believe Dodgers are at full strength so if they lose, the better team won. I only mentioned it as proof of how resilient this team has been to reach this point. But what's ironically funny is that you claim injuries are an excuse yet your first post was about Nats' injuries. Only when you realized you couldn't win this argument due to Dodgers injuries setting a MLB record did you change positions.

Since you think Dodgers always choke, I'm sure you'll be putting your life's savings on the Nats. But before you do, you might want to know Dusty Baker managed teams have lost 8 consecutive elimination games.
