Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with Odell?

Kid is 23 years old and just wants to have fun.

He is better than everyone on the field and gets upset when he doesn't get the ball.

When he gets the ball you see what happens.

Hes not a distraction IMO, he's their only chance to win.

I believe the team understands this, why does the media have to keep talking about it?

The media talks about it because sensationalism and controversy sells. As long as you aren't Ray Rice'ing your girl or anything then I'm fine with some of these guys being malcontents or a little off their rocker.

Sports is boring when everyone is just a peachy little choir boy.

"Practice? We talkin about practice"

"Straight cash homie"

These great quotes would not happen if every athlete just acted like Peyton Manning.

Who cares if this guy is a little crazy, you don't gotta spend Thanksgiving with him.

Besides, I don't even like the Giants. Get all the penalties you want O'Dell.

he's a kid, sometimes acts like a moron, doesn't seem to have any self control

I'm sure Brady & Belichick can fix him if they ever had the chance

Where would Eli be if he didn't always have some super freak WR pulling amazing catches out of their assess and off of their helmets

I think the team only has a problem with him when he costs them 15-yd penalties. You can't hurt the team like that.

he scored a 60 yarder on 4th and 1, crowd going nuts, was past the end zone and took off his helment and said waved his finger to say no im not celebrating and ran to his sideline. 15 yard penalty? i wish everyone would keep celebrating and getting penalties and the opposite coaches would decline the flag.

I like the dude, no issue with him at all, but that 15 yarder is killer in those circumstances.

I have no problem with him. He's young and talented. The extra stuff gets him spotlight time which translates to dollars in his pocket. The penalty yesterday could have been costly, so that bothered me. Without him the Giants would have zero offense.

The league needs to loosen up its celebration penalties.

I have no problem with his celebrations, I think the NFL is too tough regarding celebrations.

it sucks seeing talented players implode and not have the mental toughness to reach their full potential. Odell seems to be heading down that path, hopefully he matures with age and doesn't let his emotions cause him to self destruct.

it's an absolutely stupid rule, but it is a rule and it is one they always call and it does hurt your team

I hate the rule

He's a "ME" guy. He only cares about his own success. Fuck the team. Yesterday proved that for all the people that like him. Scores a potentially game winning TD and then basically flips off the refs while running off the field, knowing that he was going to get a penalty, and loudly proclaiming to them and everyone else that he doesn't care.

A complete douche.

Hand the ball to the ref and celebrate with your teammates.

No. its fucjing football. Celebrate however u want. If you can't even shoot the football like a basketball without being penalized 15 yards then fuck that. Defy the rules and get them changed back.

He's an employee. He doesn't have the right to do the shit you say. His job is to help the team win games. That's it. If you pull the shit he did yesterday, you obviously put yourself ahead of the team. Go start your own league if you want to do that shit.

The rule is a little strict for most of our tastes. But even now, it's not a hard rule to follow. Go nuts, get excited, have class, respect your opponent. Keep your helmet on. Not hard at all to follow.

The NFL needs to lighten up.....Guy can`t do a dance in the end zone after a TD.....Give me a break.

15 yard penalty for celebrating a TD is a joke.
