Everything I read, this Cleveland team has a big chip on their shoulder. They have lost one game so far in the play offs and now they are +165 for the series? My God, better pitching, better bull pen and superior manager. I am a Phillies fan and Joe Maddon got out foxed by Charlie Manual in the ws back in 08.

Everyone all over the Cubs cause some goat and some geek...Gimme the tribe for the series..

I disagree that Cleveland has better pitching, but we will see how it plays out on the field.

I think the Cubs will win, but I agree the line is juiced up. Should be -150ish. They deserve to be favorites, but not -200 range. Is anyone really surprised the line is juiced up though?

I don't wanna speak for anyone, but I'm pretty sure anyone who likes the Cubs doesn't like them because of a goat or Bartman. Probably because they have the better team.

They are loved/juiced because of the drought but man clev not exactly title town. I love the tribe at that price. Rarely do I watch the ws, but im in for a dime here. Insane odds.

That doesn't make sense to me. If people believed in a Cubs curse it should garner support in the other direction.

I think the type of bettors that affect the line DON'T believe in that garbage and just see a better team on the field.

All the cub drought, theo is the whiz kid ( which he is) joe is a genius would reduce the odds? People love a great under dog story HC. Clev been flying under the radar and all I hear is cubs..cubs..cubs...

I'm waiting for game 1 line to come out. I think there may be more value for me personally taking it game by game and varying wager size based on confidence level, and/or getting on the Cubs if/when they lose game 1.

We haven't even announced our rotation yet. If Arrieta starts game 1 I'll probably lay off it and hammer the series if the Cubs lose.

I mean I'll do something friendly with ya but I'm not looking to get a dime down on the series at this point and this price.

BJones - I don't disagree with your thinking. I doubt the general fan could name more than 1-2 players on Cleveland. That being said, I struggle to see any advantage they may have. I would love to see them win vs anyone EXCEPT the Cubs.
