Long-suffering. Ecstatic. Disbelieving. F–king idiots?

Brett Anderson added one adjective to describe Cubs fans late Saturday, after his Dodgers were defeated in Game 6, allowing Cubs fans to see their first World Series in 71 years.

After the 5-0 Cubs win, the Dodgers pitcher said their rowdy fans were celebrating too hard, directing their passion — and beer — to the Dodgers family section.

“Real classy cubs fans throwing beer in the Dodgers family section,” wrote the 28-year-old Anderson, who did not pitch in the series. “Stay classy f—–g idiots.”

For the most part, the fans reportedly did stay classy — from a 90-year-old die-hard to the Chicago faithful, still without a World Series title since 1908, staying in Wrigley Field long after the final out to drink in the feeling.

Anderson (and Dodgers families) would’ve preferred it if they had drunk in all of the beer, too.

Oh boo fucking hoo, gimme a break. If you're at Wrigley field for a potential pennant-clinching game, you should probably accept the fact there might be a celebration, and that celebration might involve beer getting spilled.

I don't really even believe it anyway, I was inside the park and it was a very relaxed celebration.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.

sounds about right

Given that your stated sole purpose for watching the playoffs is to root against the Cubs, you must really be hating baseball right about now. I hope you're losing your bankroll betting against them too.

haven't made a single wager in the playoffs . haven't made a single wager since the all star break actually. focusing on fantasy football, which you claim I'm really bad at because I said CJ Anderson was a bust lol. that one kind of backfired on you, no offense

and im not miserable at all. Cubs haven't won the WS yet and I still believe they won't. although the Indians now have to contend with idiot Greenbacks mush. plus this gives me a reason to watch the playoffs . if im not wagering and the Reds aren't in it, I wouldn't be paying attention.

I went to Wrigley for the first time to the last regular season game a few weeks ago.

Seemed like a classy place with classy fans.

I am sure a thousand times more Cubs fans got wet than Dodgers fans. That's just what happens when you win the pennant, shit goes flying. I guess it has been so long since the Dodgers won, they forget what it's like.

Brett Anderson is factually one of the more vocal and outspoken players in baseball (ex. go on his Twitter), so I wouldn't be surprised if he was exaggerating a little bit here.

He's also kinda a dick. One example I recall is when Lucas Harrell was pitching in Korea in 2015, and Anderson tweeted something like, "Remember when the Astros and Lucas Harrell thought he could survive in MLB? Lol"

Meanwhile, Anderson STILL can never stay healthy, while Harrell returned to the majors this year with the Braves, fared well (even beating Jose Fernandez RIP in his first start back!), and was then a sought-after trade piece at the deadline, acquired by the Rangers.

Brett Anderson isn't exactly trustworthy

out indefinitely

literally every time you two idiots try to talk shit it backfires .

smh it's really just pathetic to see two grown men spend their lives trolling on an anonymous Internet forum.

Especially choptalk . this is at least 9 or 10 times in a row where he's tried to talk shit and it blows up in his face . I have to hand it to him though, he's a glutton for punishment

-how did your huge lville bet work out for you?
-Or lindor prop bet last night?
-tell us some more how tavon austin is going to be a superstar.
-cry some more to us about how you lost a tennis bet because you didn't even understand the rules on the wager you made . a wager that would pay $1000. very smart .

you taking an absolute beating lately .

It's sad and pathetic that someone would stoop so low as to celebrate someone getting hurt so they can celebrate to themselves and make himself believe he does not suck at fantasy football. Pretty sad level there

Thats pretty classless .

Im glad those cubs fans poured beer on your head. You deserve it
